He understood his strengths and virtues as well as the limitations of his abilities, so he never acted arbitrarily and alone. He made good use of talented people, and eventually won the world. Self-awareness is the highest wisdom; only through self-awareness can one better develop oneself and surpass oneself.

33. 轻易评价别人的三观或五观,不仅不能够彰显一个人的优越感,反而暴露了浅薄和险隘

34. 但陈执中说:官职不论大小,都属朝廷名器。一切安排,都有法令制度。况且我从不做违背原则的事。

37. 而那些自以为聪明的人,被套入彀中仍然茫然不觉,自以为得计。纵观历史,当一个人聪明到会装傻的地步,这个人就进入了真正聪明的行列,成为了智囊中的智囊,高手中的高手。这样的人,才是真正能够笑到最后,也笑得最好的人。当一个人明明很傻,偏偏要竭力装扮自己文过饰非的时候,那么,等待他的,必然是凄惨的命运。
37. However, those who think themselves wise are still oblivious to being trapped in a trap, and they believe they have achieved something. Throughout history, when a person is so wise that they can pretend to be foolish, they have entered the ranks of true wisdom, becoming the wisest among the wise, the best among the experts. Such people are truly the ones who can laugh last and laugh best. When someone is clearly foolish and yet goes to great lengths to pretend to be wise and cover up their mistakes, then what awaits them is inevitably a悲惨 fate.
38. 靠谱的人,言必信,行必果。事事有交代,件件有落实,时时有回应。

57. 战国时期,商鞅在秦国变法。为了取信于民,他在都城南门立下一根三丈长的木桩。并发布告示,谁能把木桩搬到北门,赏金十两。
