Maintain one's true colors in adversity, and never lose one's faith in the face of despair—the magical power as solid as a rock.

1. 世界不是一马平川，人生不能一帆风顺。

30. 女子每天盯着窗外的一棵大树，对画家说：等树叶落尽，我也就死了。

30. The woman stared at a large tree outside the window every day and told the painter: By the time the leaves fall off the tree, I will have died.

31. 秋风肆虐，树叶所剩不多。女子一边数着树叶，一边流着悲伤的泪水。

31. The autumn wind raged, leaving few leaves on the trees. The girl counted the leaves while shedding sorrowful tears.

32. 夜晚，天上电闪雷鸣，暴风雨席卷而至。女子奄奄一息，幽幽地对画家说：最后一篇树叶快要落下来了。

32. At night, there were lightning and thunder in the sky, and a violent storm swept in. The woman, on the brink of death, faintly said to the painter: The last leaf is about to fall.

33. 第二天，风停雨息。一片树叶油绿茂盛，紧紧贴在树枝上。此后，日复一日，那片树叶依然如故，再也没有掉下来。

33. On the second day, the wind ceased and the rain stopped. A single leaf was lush and glossy, tightly adhering to the branch. From day to day thereafter, that leaf remained as it was, never falling off.

36. 身处绝境，紧张不安在所难免。但应该快速稳定下来，积极而从容地面对，智慧而坚强地渡过，说不定，命运的转机就会悄然而至。
