2. 意思是:兜里有钱不用太多,够花就好;仓里有米,不用太满,够吃就好,手边有一卷喜欢的书,这样的人生便足够惬意,何须追寻极致的富贵呢。只要身体没有病,心里没有忧愁,没有债主登门,便称的上是神仙日子了。

2. It means: Having enough money in your pocket is sufficient, not too much; having enough rice in the granary is enough, not too full; having a roll of your favorite books at hand makes life sufficiently pleasant. Why seek extreme wealth? As long as you are healthy, have no worries in your heart, and no creditors at your door, it can be called a神仙日子 (immortal life).

3. 享清福不在为官,只要囊有钱,仓有粟,腹有诗书,便是山中宰相。

10. It means: Yan Hui's character is so noble! With just a bamboo basket of rice, a scoop of water, and living in a shabby little house, others would find such poverty and hardship unbearable, but Yan Hui never changed his enjoyment of studying. How noble Yan Hui's character is indeed!

11. 不要羡慕任何人的生活,其实谁家的锅底都有灰,不是别人风光无限,而是他们的一地鸡毛没给人看。追求不同,各有各的活法,路的尽头什么,也许从来都不重要。”

11. Don't envy anyone's life, for in reality, the bottom of every pot has its soot. It's not that others are endlessly glamorous; it's just that they keep their messes hidden from the world. Everyone chases different dreams and has their own way of living. What lies at the end of the road may never be important.

12. 明代有一个叫胡九韶的人,科举考试连年不中,在家一边种地,一边还要教孩子读书,日子过得忙碌而辛苦。

12. There was a person named Hu Jiushao during the Ming Dynasty who failed the imperial examinations year after year. While living at home, he not only worked on the farm but also taught his children to read, leading a busy and hard life.

13. 但每天黄昏,胡九韶都要在家门口焚香设案,感谢上天又赐予一天的清福。

13. But every evening, Hu Jiushao would burn incense and set up an altar at the doorway of his home to thank heaven for bestowing another day of tranquility and blessings.

14. 人生一切痛苦的根源,都是因为我们需要的不多,而想要的太多。

15. “贤哉回也!一箪食,一瓢饮,在陋巷,人7不堪其忧,回也不改其乐,贤哉回也!”

15. "How noble of Hui! With only a bamboo basket of food and a瓢 of drink, living in a dilapidated alley, others would find their distress unbearable, but Hui remained unchanged in his joy. How noble of Hui!"

17. 温饱无虑就是幸事,无病无灾就是福泽。有一个健康的身体,有美美的心情,没有什么疾病和祸患,人生就圆满了。

18. 妻子嘲讽:都穷成这样了,哪来的清福。

25. 祈大年无须服药,但愿身无病,心无忧,门无债主,就是地上神仙。

25. Qi Dianian does not need to take medicine, but wishes to be free from illness, worry-free in the heart, and without creditors at the door, which would make him a god on earth.
