Li Haining: Utterly leisurely, it is only through doing nothing that wisdom truly manifests.
1. Li Xingyu said, "Complete leisure, doing nothing is the best. Because in this world, no matter what you do, it ultimately has no value, and it will all vanish like smoke and dust. The only thing you can grasp and enjoy is your own time. As for this period of time, whether you do something or do nothing, the result is about the same. Whether life has meaning is not in the eyes of others, nor in the mouths of others, but in your own heart. Take care of your own mood and take care of your own body, and you are worthy of happiness."
2. Born into the world, I am like a mayfly lost in the vastness of the heavens and the earth, a mere grain of sand in the boundless ocean. I lament the brevity of my life, and envy the endlessness of the Yangtze River.
3. As a mayfly is placed in the vast expanse of the heavens and earth, like a grain of millet in the boundless sea, alas, we cannot help but mourn that our entire life is but a fleeting moment. It is inevitable to feel envious of the endlessness of the Yangtze River.
4. In the face of nature, humans are always brief and insignificant. There is no need to ascribe to oneself a noble value. The existence of each person in the universe is no different from that of an ant, a blade of grass, or a speck of dust.
5. The most important thing is to relax both your body and mind, to be completely at ease, do nothing, and live a happy life.
6. Yang Shen was the son of the Ming Dynasty prime minister Yang Tinghe. Not only did he come from a noble background, but he was also talented and exceptionally intelligent. By his early 20s, he had become the top scholar in the imperial examination, known as the "Zhuangyuan," a genius with profound knowledge, recognized throughout the empire.

10. Yang Shen passed through Jiangling, Hubei, looking at the mighty Yangtze River flowing eastward in front of him, and remembered the heroic and heroic figures who had achieved great things here in the past, who had now all vanished into thin air, feeling deeply moved, and wrote a poem "Liangjiangxian":
11. The mighty Yangtze River flows eastward, washing away heroes with its surging waves. Right and wrong, success and failure, all turn to emptiness. The green mountains remain unchanged, and the setting sun turns the sky red again and again. The white-haired fisherman and woodcutter on the riverbank are accustomed to watching the autumn moon and the spring breeze. We are glad to meet with a cup of muddy wine. Throughout history, how many things, all are left to be talked about in laughter.
12. The mighty Yangtze River flows eastward, never turning back, and many heroes vanish like fluttering bubbles. Debating what is right or wrong, success or failure, all are fleeting and fleeting. Only the green mountains remain, still witnessing the rise and fall of the sun. The white-haired fisherman on the river has long been accustomed to the changes of the four seasons. It's a rare occasion to meet with friends, and we happily raise a toast. The hustle and bustle throughout history have all become topics for our casual drinking conversations.
13. All that you pursue is in vain. It's better to let go of your attachments and enjoy the simple days of the present than to be in pain and restlessness from seeking and not obtaining.
14. When time is entirely yours, doing only what you like. Time is then free, and existence is genuine. True freedom and success are not about external recognition, but about whether you feel good or not, whether you like it or not. The greatest success is to do what you like and do it to the fullest.
15. The world is one's own, having nothing to do with others. We do not need to seek others' approval, nor do we have to yearn for the ups and downs of fate. The present moment is the best, the ordinary is the best, and solitude is the best.
