Embrace the remnants of life, live out oneself freely.

1. Mo Yan said: "Not getting married and having children will make you very lonely when you get old, and even after you die, there will be no one to bury you. To be honest, when a person dies, does it matter whether someone will bury them? Will you come back to life if no one buries you? Besides, shouldn't the people who are still alive be the ones to be afraid if no one buries a deceased person? Especially for women who are not married and do not have children, they will become wandering spirits after death! Just be happy while you are alive; it's not up to you to worry about what happens after you die. So as long as you don't harm others, you can live however you want."

2. 人生总是充满着各种各样的残缺和遗憾，春花和秋月不可以兼得，鱼和熊掌不能够同时吃到，我们得到了这个，就必然会失去那个，顾全了这里，必然会遗失那里。无论怎么选择，都会有遗憾，无论怎么行动，都会有代价。我们不要考虑这么多，做自己想做的事，过自己想要的生活，由他人说去吧！

2. Life is always filled with various kinds of shortcomings and regrets. We cannot have both spring flowers and autumn moon, nor can we eat both fish and bear's paws at the same time. If we get this, we will inevitably lose that; if we attend to this, we will inevitably lose that. No matter how we choose, there will be regrets; no matter how we act, there will be a cost. We should not think about too much, do what we want to do, live the life we want, and let others say what they want!

3. 有人居于世界食物链的顶端，比如做官了，发财了，功成名就了，万众瞩目，花团锦簇，他自己也自以为是，颐指气使，沾沾自喜。

Some people endure all kinds of hardships and suffering, yet they live a healthy life up to the age of ninety-nine.

6. 不要羡慕任何人，上帝给你关上了一扇门，同时也会为你打开一扇窗。当下的生活，才是最适合自己的日子。

6. Do not envy anyone. God closes a door for you while also opening a window. The present life is the most suitable day for yourself.

7. 我们曾如此渴望命运的波澜，后来才发现，人生最曼妙的风景，是内心的笃定从容。我们曾如此期待别人的认可，后来才发现，世界是自己的，和其他人毫无关系。

7. We once so eagerly craved the vicissitudes of fate, only to later find out that the most enchanting scenery in life is the steadfast calmness within our hearts. We once so eagerly awaited others' approval, only to later discover that the world is our own, having nothing to do with others.

8. 每个人都是一个独立的灵魂，我们不必为他人所左右，只需要对自己的人生负责。想怎么说就怎么说，想怎么活就怎么活，该怎么做就怎么做。别人怎么看待你，那是别人的事，完全没有必要去纠结和烦恼。

8. Everyone is an independent soul, and we do not need to be influenced by others; we only need to be responsible for our own lives. Say what you want to say, live as you want to live, and act as you should act. How others perceive you is their own business, and there is absolutely no need to be entangled or troubled by it.

9. 庄子说，举世誉之而不加劝，举世非之而不加沮。

14. 学会接受生命中的所有遗憾，允许自己不完美，允许自己命途坎坷，允许自己碰上不友好的人，允许自己落难，甚至允许自己猝然之间面对死亡的威胁。
