知足常乐,感恩心态,荣辱不惊。在这纷繁复杂的世界里,愿我们以一颗平和之心,去感受生活的美好,去品味人生的酸甜苦辣。

2. "Actually, you are already very happy. You have enough to eat and wear, no illnesses or misfortunes, and you can still enjoy a good meal every now and then. Sometimes, you can even sleep until you wake up naturally, with a plump, lucky body. In a lifetime, if one can escape natural disasters, avoid war and turmoil, not meet evil people, and not fall ill with serious diseases, that is already very fortunate. If one can also have a harmonious family, a stable income, and a few good friends, that is even a great blessing."

3. 懂得知足,时时处处都能感受到幸福。如果不知足,一辈子都会被贪嗔痴所纠缠,痛苦不已。

9. 意思是,我把天地当作棺椁,把日月当作连璧,把星辰当作珠玑,万物都可以成为我的陪葬,我陪葬的东西难道还不完备吗哪里用得着再加上这些东西!

9. It means that I consider the heavens and the earth as my coffin, the sun and the moon as my precious stones, and the stars as my pearls and jade. Everything can be my burial accompaniments. Could there possibly be anything more complete than that, and why would I need to add any more of these things!

10. 人生一世,功名富贵,金银钱财,不过是身外之物。生不带来,死不带去,又何必为此耿耿于怀。放下对外物的执着,清心寡欲,知足常乐,才能过好这一生。

10. In one's lifetime, fame, wealth, gold and silver are merely external possessions. They cannot be brought with us at birth or taken away at death. Why worry about them so much? Let go of the attachment to external things, keep a tranquil mind and have few desires, and only then can one truly enjoy this life.

11. 杨绛先生说:“幸福是什么,幸福就是,人到中年有一个好身体,一个坏的记性,简单点,糊涂点,开心一点,别说以前,别想也许,别谈如果。”

16. Hu Jiushao said, "Living in this peaceful and prosperous era, we don't have to hide and seek; our family has enough to eat and wear, and no one is dying of cold or hunger. Everyone in the family is also in good health, without any disasters or diseases. Isn't this enough to be blessed?"

17. 懂得知足的人,雷霆雨露,俱是天恩。一粥一饭,都是福气。他们更懂得惜福,更懂得感恩,也活得更快乐。

17. Those who understand contentment believe that both thunder and rain, as well as the dew, are all blessings from heaven. Every bowl of porridge and every meal are blessings. They are more aware of appreciating their blessings, more grateful, and live a happier life.

18. 《道德经》说:“知足不辱,知止不殆,可以长久。”

Chapter 18 of the Tao Te Ching says: "To be content is to avoid disgrace, to know when to stop is to avoid danger; thus one can live long."

21. 老子原是东周王室的守藏史,非常受尊敬。然而,两位王子争权夺利,觊觎权力,把国家搅得乌烟瘴气。他们看到老子非常受天子的敬重,纷纷拉拢他,许诺高官厚禄。

21. Laozi was originally the Keeper of the Royal Archives of the Eastern Zhou Dynasty and was highly respected. However, two princes were vying for power and wealth, coveting power, and causing the country to be in chaos. They saw that Laozi was greatly esteemed by the emperor, so they all tried to win his favor, promising him high official positions and generous salaries.

22. 然而,老子视荣华富贵如浮云,为了远离纠纷,全身而退,他果断辞官,骑着青牛西去,隐入云烟。

22. However, Laozi regarded fame and wealth as fleeting clouds. To distance himself from disputes, he retired from office with complete integrity. Riding a blue ox, he set off to the west, disappearing into the mist and smoke.

23. 在路上,他应关尹喜的请求,写下《道德经》五千言,其中就有“知足不辱”的道理。

23. On the road, upon the request of Yanxi, he wrote the "Tao Te Ching," a text of 5,000 words, which includes the principle of "be content and you will not be disgraced."

From birth until now, although I have had minor illnesses and disasters, I have always been peaceful and safe; and although there have been bumps and setbacks, I have generally been smooth-sailing. Thank God, He has given me everything that a normal person has. My limbs are not strong, but they are sound; my eyes are nearsighted, yet they are bright; my job may not suit my temperament, but it is stable; and my life may not be perfect, but it is happy.

41. Life is an endless sea, and humans are but a tiny boat adrift on it. The sea never knows a moment of calm, and thus, neither does a person always have joy and sorrow. When nameless worries overwhelm us, disappointment and confusion ignite every nerve. But, my friend, do not forget to maintain a peaceful heart; then, pain will no longer exist.

42. 每个人前面都有一条通向远方的路,崎岖但充满希望,不是人人都能走到远方,因为总有人因为没倒掉鞋里的沙子而疲惫不堪半途而废。所以,主宰人的感觉的并非欢乐和痛苦本身,而是心情。

42. Everyone has a path leading to a distant destination, rugged yet filled with hope.
