Amid the vast sea of people, wisdom shines like a lighthouse, illuminating the path ahead. The brave face the storms without fear, the wise are undaunted by the unknown, and the courageous overcome all obstacles. Let's explore the wisdom of life, walking together.

1. 生活就是一个见招拆招的过程,不要去设想可能到来的痛苦,兵来将挡,水来土掩。如果竭尽自己所有的能量,也无法解决问题,那就顺其自然,听天由命。

1. Life is a process of dealing with things as they come, don't go ahead and imagine the possible suffering. Meet the enemy with the best general, and cover the water with the earth. If you have exhausted all your energy and still cannot solve the problem, then go with the flow and leave it to fate.

2. 孔子说:“智慧的人不疑惑,仁德的人不忧愁,勇敢的人不畏惧。”

2. Confucius said, "The wise have no doubts, the benevolent have no worries, and the brave have no fears."

3. "既有不惑之智,又立"仁济天下"之志,当奋发有为,戳力推行。推行仁政,为民造福,为国图强,乃千年伟业,非由孤家寡人一梦而成,需有千万大智大勇之人共同奋斗。仁重道远,弘毅不辍,虽杀身以成仁,死而后已!人若向死而生,何惧之有?故曰:‘勇而不惧’!"

3. "With the wisdom of not being confused and the determination to 'benefit the world with benevolence,' one should strive to be active and resolutely promote. To implement benevolent governance, to bring blessings to the people, and to strengthen the country, is a great cause spanning a thousand years, not something that can be achieved by a solitary dream of a few. It requires the collective efforts of tens of thousands of wise and brave individuals. Benevolence is a distant path, and perseverance is endless. Even if one has to sacrifice oneself to achieve benevolence, the journey does not end with death! If one faces death with life, what is there to fear? Hence, it is said, 'brave and fearless'!"

4. “知道了回家的路,如同知道了人生的归宿,从此便不再迷惑(智者不惑);天下无有征战之乱,百姓衣食富足,居有定处,当政者就不会再有忧虑(仁者无忧);心中有了这些远大的志向,就会把个人生死置之度外,向死而生的人就没有畏惧(勇者无惧)”。

"Knowing the way home is like knowing one's ultimate destination in life, from then on one is no longer confused (the wise are not confused); there is no more war and chaos in the world, the people have sufficient food and clothing, and a place to live, so the rulers will no longer have worries (the benevolent are worry-free); with these grand aspirations in one's heart, one will put personal life and death aside, and those who live in the face of death have no fear (the brave are fearless)."

5. 智者无虑——智者,有智慧的人。有智慧的人是没有顾虑的,总是有办法的。诸葛亮在司马懿兵临城下、城内没有守军的情况下,以空城之计解了围。这就是智者的力量。

5. The Wise Are Unworried - The wise refer to people with wisdom. People with wisdom have no worries and always find a way out. In the case where Zhuge Liang faced the advancing army of Sima Yi with no defenders in the city, he used the empty city strategy to break the siege. This is the power of the wise.

6. 弱水三千,我只取一瓢饮。

6. Among the thousands of weak waters, I only take one ladle to drink.

7. 一个人真正的强大,是内心的强大。

7. A person's true strength lies in their inner strength.

8. 夫子家国情怀,上忧国君,下忧百姓,近忧乡里,远忧天下,进退皆忧,只不明为何有“仁者无忧"之说。既听夫子如此解述,顿觉豁然开朗。原来,“仁者不忧",非是无忧,而是“仁济天下"而达到的仁者之境界呀!

8. Confucius had a profound sense of national and family duty, worrying about the country's ruler above, the people below, the local community nearby, and the world at large, feeling concerned in both advancement and retreat. Yet, he was puzzled as to why there is a saying that "the benevolent are without worries." After listening to Confucius' explanation, I suddenly felt enlightened. It turns out, "the benevolent are without worries" does not mean they are truly without worries, but rather it signifies the state of being reached by the benevolent through "benevolence benefiting the world"!

9. 世界上有很多种不同的勇敢,在水中穿行不避蛟龙者,是渔夫的勇敢;在陆地行走不避犀牛猛兽者,是猎人的勇敢;白刃相交于前视死若生、大义凛然者,是烈士的勇敢。还有一种勇敢,处变不惊,每临大事能做到泰山崩于前而色不改,静定坦荡用精明的智慧去洞悉眼前的是非,走过风险迎接光明的结局,这叫君子的勇敢。

9. There are many different kinds of bravery in the world. The bravery of a fisherman is to navigate through water without shying away from dragons; the bravery of a hunter is to walk on land without avoiding fierce beasts like rhinoceroses; the bravery of a hero is to face death as if it were life, resolute and solemn in the face of great righteousness. There is also another kind of bravery that remains calm in the face of change, and is able to maintain composure even when a major event occurs, like a mountain collapsing before them without showing any change in expression. This is the bravery of a gentleman, who uses the wisdom of discernment to calmly analyze the right and wrong in front of them, to pass through risks and welcome a bright outcome.

10. 夫子伫立山顶,望着山下,但见阡陌纵横,城郭分布其间。秋冬的空气清凉,没有云雾,大地上的一草一木,都清晰可见。夫子几乎都能看到回家的路,看到国都和街道上行走的路人。他扭过头来对身边的学生说:

10. Master stood at the summit, gazing down at the valley below, where the fields were crisscrossed and walled cities were scattered among them. The air of autumn and winter was cool, without clouds or mist, and every blade of grass and tree on the earth was visible. Master could almost see the path back home, as well as the pedestrians walking on the streets of the capital. He turned his head to his students beside him and said:

11. 知者不惑,坚守初心,才能行稳致远。

11. The wise are not perplexed; by adhering to their original intentions, they can move steadily towards their destination.

12. 相由心生,境随心转。

12. A person's appearance reflects their inner self, and their circumstances change according to their mindset.

13. 智者不惑。“惑”字挺有意思,这个世界上当你或这样或那样有所选择的时候就是“或者”,

13. The wise are not perplexed. The character "惑" is quite interesting. In this world, whenever you have to make a choice or do something one way or another, it is referred to as "either/or."

14. 仁者不忧。论语总共就一万多字,“仁”字出现了一百零九次,它是中国儒家核心中的核心。孔子对“仁”解释是:爱人。即爱别人,好好地爱别人,善意地对待别人。“己所不欲勿施于人”,我不喜欢的事也别加给别人,仁爱之心就是用自己的心推及别人的心。

14. The benevolent has no worries. The Analects, totaling less than 10,000 characters, mentions the character "ren" (benevolence) one hundred and nine times, making it the core of the core in Confucianism. Confucius' interpretation of "ren" is: to love others. That is, to love others well, to treat others kindly. "Do not do to others what you would not have them do to you," meaning that I should not impose on others what I do not like. The heart of benevolence is to extend one's own heart to others.

15. 最好的活法,莫过于仁者不忧,知者不惑,勇者不惧。

16. 恭宽信敏慧,其中“恭”和“宽”教我们的是做人的修养,“信”和“敏”教我们的是做事的态度,“慧”教我们的是做官的风范。做人做事做官是现代人在生活中要走的路。

Respect, tolerance, faith, promptness, and wisdom: "Respect" and "tolerance" teach us the cultivation of character, "faith" and "promptness" teach us the attitude towards work, and "wisdom" teaches us the demeanor of being an official. To be a person, to do things, and to be an official are the paths that modern people need to walk in life.

17. 第一,恭,原话为“恭则不侮”,即你对他人毕恭毕敬的时候,你自己的生命是不会招致侮辱的。恭敬是先有内敬才有外恭,就是内心对他人有生命的敬意,外在才会有谦恭,谦恭不是做出来的,是内心的态度,越是人格大的人越是很谦恭。

17. Firstly, respectfulness. The original saying is "when you show respect, you will not be insulted," meaning that when you treat others with utmost respect, your own life will not invite insult. Respectfulness comes from inner respect before there is outer respect, which is the respect for others' lives in the heart, and only then will there be humility. Humility is not something that is acted out; it is an attitude from the heart. The more dignified a person is, the more humble they are.

18. 知者不惑,就是让我们要管控和节制自己的欲望。

18. The wise are not perplexed; this means we should control and moderate our desires.

19. 尼采曾言:“对待生命你不妨大胆冒险一点,因为好歹你要失去它。如果这世界上真有奇迹,那只是努力的另一个名字。生命中最难的阶段不是没有人懂你,而是你不懂你自己。”

19. Nietzsche once said: "You might as well take a bold adventure with life, because sooner or later you will lose it. If there really is a miracle in this world, it is just another name for effort. The most difficult stage in life is not that no one understands you, but that you do not understand yourself."

20. 学生们听了夫子之言,不约皆会心一笑。拜夫子为师,追随夫子四处游走,寒暑往来,时时求教;今立于山顶,仍与夫子为伴,虽说风寒难耐,心中亦觉欣慰。

20. The students, upon hearing the master's words, all unconsciously smiled with understanding. They bowed to the master as their teacher, followed him as he traveled to various places, coming and going with the changing seasons, constantly seeking guidance. Now standing on the summit, they are still accompanied by the master. Although the cold wind is difficult to bear, their hearts are filled with contentment.

21. 我们现在干了很多违反自然规律的事情,砍掉几百年、上千年的树木后再退耕还林,先坐电梯上十楼然后再到健身房健身,而不是爬楼梯,这都是违背四时明法的。

21. We have now committed many acts that violate the laws of nature. For example, after cutting down trees that have stood for hundreds or even thousands of years, we reforest the land; we take elevators to the tenth floor before working out in the gym instead of climbing stairs; all these actions go against the principle of respecting the four seasons and their laws.

22. 一个真正充满智慧的人,会管控住自己的欲望,不管诱惑有多么的强烈,都不会丧失自己的底线和原则,更不会做出对自己不利的行为。

22. A truly wise person will control their desires and, no matter how strong the temptation, will not lose their bottom line and principles, nor will they act in a way that is detrimental to themselves.

23. 过去心不可得,现在心不可得,未来心不可得。已经发生的事情就不要回头,不依不饶,只会画地为牢。现在的琐事烂事不要去理会,不被不值得的人和事消耗自己的时间和精力,还没有发生的事情,千万不要焦虑,透支烦恼毫无意义。

23. The past mind cannot be obtained, the present mind cannot be obtained, and the future mind cannot be obtained. Do not look back on what has already happened, do not be relentless, as it will only confine you within your own limitations. Do not concern yourself with trivial and unpleasant matters in the present, do not waste your time and energy on people and things that are not worth it. Do not worry about things that have not yet happened, as it is meaningless to overdraw your troubles.

24. 第二,宽,原话为“宽则得众”,即谁对他人宽容,谁就会得到众人的拥戴。宽和窄很大程度上是我们自己对世界的一种态度,决定了世界对我们的态度。

Secondly, generosity, which is originally from the phrase "be generous and you will win the hearts of the people," meaning that the one who shows tolerance to others will gain the support of the people. Generosity and stinginess are largely our own attitude towards the world, which determines the world's attitude towards us.

25. 当你的内心强大到混蛋,强大到无敌,强大到无所畏惧,就可以在这个纷繁复杂的人世间逢山开路,所向披靡。

25. When your inner strength is so powerful that it can be considered as a bastard, invincible, and fearless, you can cut through the complexities of this world, overcoming all obstacles in your path.

27. 孔子十四年游历归来,途经泰山。当其之时,南鲁北齐,以泰山为界。孔子已踏上故国的土地,心潮起伏,慷慨万千。他曾登蒙山之颠,鲁之城郭尽收眼底,于是产生了游走天下之心;如今身临泰山,若能登高望远,定会产生不一样的家国情怀。

27. In the fourteenth year of Confucius' journey, he returned to his homeland and passed through Mount Tai. At that time, the Southern and Northern States of Lu and Qi were separated by Mount Tai. Having set foot on the land of his native country again, Confucius was overwhelmed with emotions and felt generous in spirit. He had once climbed to the peak of Meng Mountain, where he could see the entire city of Lu, and thus was inspired with the desire to roam the world; now, standing in front of Mount Tai, if he could climb to a higher vantage point, he would surely be filled with a different sense of love and attachment for his homeland.

28. “国之当政,必有忧国虑民之心。民为国本,民富则国强。推行仁政,惠济于民,使民有恒产,则民殷而国富。一国富强,万国来朝,争相效仿,则天下必大治。天下既治,何忧之有?故曰:‘仁者无忧`!"

28. "When those in power govern a nation, they must have a heart concerned for their country and its people. The people are the foundation of the nation; when the people are prosperous, the nation is strong. To implement benevolent governance, to bring benefits to the people, to ensure that the people have stable possessions, then the nation will be rich and the people will thrive. When a nation is strong and prosperous, other nations will come to pay homage, competing to emulate it, and thus the world will be greatly in order. Once the world is in order, what worries could there be? Therefore, it is said, 'The benevolent have no worries!'"

29. 这个世界上充满着各种各样的诱惑,繁华万丈,琉璃世界,五光十色,精彩纷呈,如果管控不住自己的欲望,堕入其中,就会彻底迷失自我,万劫不复。

29. This world is full of various kinds of temptations, bustling with prosperity, a world of glass, colorful and brilliant, filled with wonders. If one cannot control one's desires and fall into it, they will be completely lost and unable to return.

30. 仁智勇为什么被视为君子三德?因为仁者给我们一种无忧的胸怀去包容,智者给我们一种清明的理性去判断,而勇者给我们磊落光明的坦荡去永恒地面对各种可能的风险。这就是儒家告诉我们的这种基本的处世之道。

30. Why is benevolence, wisdom, and courage considered the three virtues of a gentleman? Because benevolence gives us an untroubled heart to embrace, wisdom gives us a clear-minded reason to judge, and courage gives us an upright and bright openness to face various possible risks eternally. This is the basic way of dealing with the world that Confucianism teaches us.

31. 孔子心潮起伏,望向身边的学生,跟上的已是寥落无几。不仅慷慨言道:

32. 第四,敏,原话为“敏则有功”,即谁敏锐谁就能建功立业。敏锐是一种大智慧,敏锐敏捷能提高效率。孔子的智慧无非是有个思维方法——叩其两端而择焉。也就是说一事当前先权衡这件事最大的利弊是什么,坚持或放弃会有什么好坏。

32. Fourthly, "Min" (quick-wittedness), the original phrase is "one who is quick-witted has accomplishments," meaning that the one who is perceptive can achieve great things. Perceptiveness is a form of great wisdom, and being quick and perceptive can improve efficiency. Confucius' wisdom is essentially a method of thinking – "knock on both ends and choose accordingly." This means that when faced with a matter, first weigh the greatest benefits and drawbacks of the matter, and consider what the pros and cons would be in terms of persistence or abandonment.

33. 一段非常通透的话:“尽量少为已经发生的事情而后悔,永远抬头挺胸往前看。人生有三把钥匙:接受、改变、离开。不能接受的就改变,改变不了的就离开,没什么大不了的,要相信一切都是最好的安排。”

33. A very transparent saying: "Try to regret as little as possible for things that have already happened, and always look up and move forward with confidence. Life has three keys: acceptance, change, and departure. If something cannot be accepted, change it; if it cannot be changed, leave it. There's nothing to worry about. Believe that everything is the best arrangement."

34. 人生只是一场体验而已,你拥有的一切,在乎的一切,计较的一切,最后都会随着自己被推进火葬场,而一笔勾销。所以我们不要患得患失,有什么想法就大胆的去尝试,有什么梦想就勇敢的去追求,有什么目标就尽一切的努力去实现。

34. Life is just an experience. Everything you possess, everything you care about, and everything you worry about will eventually be erased as you are pushed into the crematorium. Therefore, we should not be overly concerned about gains and losses. If you have ideas, go ahead and try them out; if you have dreams, be brave in pursuing them; if you have goals, strive to achieve them with all your might.

35. 德国作家叔本华认为,就是一团欲望,如果欲望得到了满足,就会感到空虚无聊,欲望得不到满足,就会感到十分痛苦,人就是在无聊和痛苦之间像钟摆一样摇摆不定。

35. The German writer Schopenhauer believed that it is a mass of desires, and if desires are satisfied, one feels空虚无聊 (empty and bored), and if desires are not satisfied, one feels extremely painful. Humans swing back and forth between boredom and pain, like a pendulum.

36. 有一个什么样的心灵世界,就会遇见一个什么样的现实世界。

36. The kind of spiritual world one has, will encounter the kind of reality world accordingly.

37. 庄子说,天地有大美而不言,四时有明法而不议,万物有成理而不说。我们今天能看到的那些美丽,都是人工的小美,真正的大美需要我们用心倾听,把自己融进去。

Chuang Tzu said, "The heavens and earth possess great beauty but do not speak; the four seasons have distinct laws but are not discussed; all things have established principles but are not explained. The beauty we can see today are all small artificial beauties. The true great beauty requires us to listen with our hearts, to immerse ourselves in it."

38. 心怎么才能大起来呢?那就是用智慧,因为智者可以不惑。学生问老师什么叫仁,孔子回答:爱人。学生问老师智呢?孔子回答:知人。我们最大的误区就是我们常常认为我们一定了解自己最在乎最关爱的人。我们经常用自己的方式去爱别人,往往却是别人不需要的,我们需要了解别人内心的所需。有弟子问孔子,“以德报怨,如何?”孔子反问:“何以报德?”这时弟子却无法回答。孔子提出:“以直报怨,以德报德。”以直报怨就是当伤害冷漠发生的时候,用正直坦荡冷冷地让这个事情迅速地处理过去,而留下你的美好去以德报德,用你的温暖、善良等一切美好的品质去回报世界上值得回报的情愫,这就是智者的分寸。

38. How can one's heart become big? It is through wisdom, because the wise are not bewildered. A student asked the teacher what is benevolence, and Confucius replied: to love others. The student then asked about wisdom, and Confucius answered: to know others. Our biggest misconception is that we often think we must understand the people we care about the most. We often love others in our own way, but it is often what they do not need. We need to understand their inner needs. A disciple asked Confucius, "How about repaying resentment with virtue?" Confucius asked back, "How do you repay virtue?" At this point, the disciple was unable to answer. Confucius proposed: "Repay resentment with righteousness, and virtue with virtue." Repaying resentment with righteousness means, when harm and indifference occur, to deal with the matter quickly and straightforwardly, leaving behind your goodness to repay virtue, using your warmth, kindness, and all other beautiful qualities to repay the feelings in the world that are worth repaying. This is the measure of a wise person.

39. 第五,慧,原话为“慧则足以使人”,即谁有恩惠之心,谁就足以使用和调动他人的积极性,比方说团队领导,谁能看得见个人的精神价值,物质利益足以分享,谁就能带得起团队。

Fifth, wisdom, the original phrase is "wisdom is enough to make people," meaning that those who have a heart of benevolence are enough to harness and mobilize others' enthusiasm, for example, team leaders. Those who can see the spiritual value of individuals and have material benefits to share can lead a team effectively.

40. 仁者一定要和智者匹配起来,而且还要勇者不惧。

40. The benevolent must be matched with the wise, and the courageous must not fear.

41. 勇者不惧,就是让我们不要害怕,大胆的去尝试自己的一切想法。

41. A hero is not afraid, which means we should not be afraid and boldly try all our thoughts.

42. 仁者无忧——仁者,心地善良的人。有仁爱之心的人没有忧愁。他善于发现别人的优点,吸取别人的建议,终能成就大事。刘备自己没有多少能耐,但他求贤若渴,三顾茅庐请诸葛亮出山,使蜀国转危为安。

42. The kind-hearted have no worries—the kind-hearted are those with a good heart. People with a heart for kindness have no worries. They are good at discovering others' strengths, absorbing others' advice, and eventually accomplishing great things. Liu Bei himself had little ability, but he sought the wise and talented with great eagerness, and visited the thatched cottage three times to invite Zhuge Liang to come out and serve, which turned the perilous situation of Shu into safety.

43. 人生短短一辈子,与其畏畏缩缩,瞻前顾后,被人看不起,不如果断的行动。岂能尽如人意,但求无愧我心。

43. Life is short, and it's better to act decisively rather than to hesitate and look back, to be looked down upon by others. It's not possible to satisfy everyone's wishes, but I strive to be without any regrets.

44. 失败了,大不了从头再来,如果无法重头再来,大不了做一个普通人,我们的起点就是一个普通人,何妨一辈子都做一个普通人呢?

44. If we fail, it's no big deal to start over from scratch. If we can't start anew, then at least be an ordinary person. Our starting point was an ordinary person, so why not be an ordinary person all our lives?

45. 孔子把自己的想法告诉大家,众弟子竟欢呼雀跃,愿意相随。看来向上追求,是大众之普遍愿望。

45. Confucius shared his thoughts with everyone, and his disciples cheered with joy, willing to follow him. It seems that the pursuit of higher goals is a common aspiration among the public.

46. 仁爱能做到吗?怎么做呢?孔子说,有五者行于天下,仁就算做到了。

46. Can benevolence be achieved? How can it be achieved? Confucius said, when there are five virtues practiced throughout the world, benevolence is considered to be achieved.

47. 望着巍峩的高山,大家簇拥着夫子,相携攀登。时季正值秋冬交替,虽是风高云淡,却也秋风萧瑟,寒冷凄切。但见漫坡灌木,一片凋零;远近落叶飘舞,甚是失落。望着这片气象,回想起自己一生经历,十五立志于学,三十有所立并明扬天下,四十不惑于世事,五十大道已明,归宿已清,六十花甲顺天而行,今已年近古稀,怎心中仍有一团阳和之气?恰正思绪万千,忽听山风吹木之声,悠扬曲折,似鸟兽群鸣。大家判断这声音从不远处隔山传来,皆随夫子奋力拾阶而上,来到一个坡顶,举目远眺,但见漫山坡野,都是松树。风力虽劲,刮起的是一片碧涛;冷峭依旧,透出的是勃勃生机。

47. Gazing at the towering mountains, everyone gathered around Master Fuzi, holding hands and climbing together. It was the time of the transition from autumn to winter, with the wind high and the clouds light, yet the autumn breeze was cold and melancholic. There were sprawling shrubs on the slopes, all withered; the falling leaves danced in the distance, giving a feeling of loss. Observing this scene, and recalling his own life experiences, he had dedicated himself to learning at the age of fifteen, achieved a firm standing and gained recognition throughout the world at thirty, was not confused by the affairs of the world at forty, the great Dao was clear at fifty, his destiny was settled, and he followed the will of heaven at sixty. Now, as he approached his seventieth year, how could there still be a warm and bright glow in his heart? Just as his thoughts were scattered, he suddenly heard the sound of the mountain wind rustling the trees, melodious and winding, as if the chorus of birds and beasts. They judged that the sound came from not far away, across the mountains, and with great effort, they climbed the steps along with Master Fuzi, reaching a hilltop. Looking out over the vast slopes, they saw nothing but pine trees. Despite the strong wind, it brought forth a wave of emerald; and though the terrain was steep, it exuded a vigorous vitality.

48. 勇者无畏——勇者,遇事敢于冲上去的人。这种人的心中没有害怕,没有担忧,只有冲锋在前。面对被困在洪水中的群众,人民子弟兵勇往直前,冒着生命危险跳下水去解救,此为当今之大勇者。

48. The Bravery Without Fear - The brave are those who dare to step forward when faced with difficulties. Such individuals have no fear, no worries, and only the courage to charge ahead. Faced with the masses trapped in floods, the sons and daughters of the people bravely charge forward, risking their lives to jump into the water and rescue them, which is the epitome of great bravery in today's world.

49. 听完夫子所言,众弟子皆欢呼雀跃,踌躇满志。表示如有从政一日,必偕同志共同努力,推行夫子之道于天下。虽死无憾!

49. After listening to Master Fuzi's words, all the disciples cheered and jumped with joy, brimming with confidence. They expressed that if they ever had the opportunity to engage in politics, they would join forces with fellow comrades to tirelessly promote Master Fuzi's teachings throughout the world. Even if they were to die, they would have no regrets!
