逆境中不屈服,顺境中不骄躁,常境中不懈怠。

Do not yield to adversity, do not be elated in prosperity, and do not slacken in ordinary times.

1. 人生就像一段起伏不定的旅程。

1. Life is like a journey with ups and downs.

2. 有高峰,有低谷,也有平坦无碍的道路。

2. There are peaks, valleys, and also smooth, unobstructed roads.

3. 高峰时,不要自以为是,得意忘形。低谷时,不要气馁沮丧,自怨自艾。平坦时,不要懒惰懈怠,不思进取。

3. Do not be self-righteous and overconfident during peak times. Do not be discouraged and despondent during troughs, and do not blame yourself excessively. Do not be lazy and complacent during flat periods, and do not stop striving for progress.

4. 白居易说:“行路难,不在山,不在水,只在人情反覆间。”不管人生处在什么样的境遇,摆正心态,正知正行,就能远灾离苦,笃定从容。

6. 明朝初年,小吏出身的胡惟庸,一路青云直上,做到宰相。在百官的吹捧和簇拥中,胡惟庸越发飘飘然。他勾结勋贵,结党营私。僭越皇权,独断专行。甚至开始觊觎皇权,和朱元璋掰腕子。最后被朱元璋诛灭三族,牵连被杀者三万多人。

6. In the early years of the Ming Dynasty, Hu Weiyong, a low-ranking official by origin, rose rapidly through the ranks to become the Prime Minister. He dared to overstep the imperial power, acting arbitrarily and unilaterally. He even began to covet the imperial power, challenging Zhu Yuanzhang to a fistfight. In the end, Zhu Yuanzhang annihilated his three families, with over 30,000 people implicated and killed.

7. 《易经•乾卦•九五爻》说:“亢龙有悔。”身处高位的人,如果洋洋自得,狂妄自大,就会有悔恨,有祸患。

11. 娄师德不满意,说,你当着那人的面擦干唾沫,说明你不服气,只会惹来更多的怨气。弟弟说,那怎么办。娄师德说,你应该对那人微笑,等着唾沫自己干掉。

11. Lao She De was dissatisfied and said, "You wiping your saliva in front of that person's face shows that you are不服 and it will only attract more resentment." The younger brother asked, "What should we do then?" Lao She De replied, "You should smile at that person and wait for the saliva to dry on its own."

13. 人在高点,看上去风光无限,实际是危险四伏。因为太突出,太抢眼,太容易被当做目标。只有不骄不狂,低调内敛,才能守住繁华,长久不衰。

40. 释义:天生我材必有用,意指上天生下我,一定有需要用到我的地方,需要我去完成。金钱用尽了,这些散失去的东西以后依然会归来。充分体现了李白的高度乐观,看透人生的性格,更深刻的体现他对人性道理的感悟。

Explanation: "Born with talent, there must be a place for me to use it," meaning that heaven has sent me down to the world, there must be a place that needs my use, a place that requires me to accomplish something. When money runs out, these scattered things will still return in the future. 42. 释义:宝剑的锐利刀锋是从不断的磨砺中得到的,梅花飘香来自它度过了寒冷的冬季。喻义要想拥有珍贵品质或美好才华等是需要不断的努力、修炼、克服一定的困难才能达到的。

42. Interpretation: The sharpness of the sword's blade comes from continuous sharpening, and the fragrance of the plum blossoms comes from having endured the cold winter. 43. 释义:生时应当做人中豪杰,死后也要做鬼中英雄。到今天人们还在怀念项羽,因为他不肯苟且偷生,退回江东。

45. 释义:以千里马(骐骥)的一跃,却还不到十步,而老马走一步没多远,却不舍,相比之下,当然老马走的更远了。这样比喻作学问,说明我们应该持之以恒。

45. Interpretation: With a single leap of the千里马 (qíjì), it doesn't even cover ten steps, whereas an old horse can only walk a short distance per step but is not willing to give up. Compared to this, of course, the old horse has walked much farther. This analogy to studying implies that we should persevere.
