3. 人虽然渺小，人生虽然短暂，但人有智慧，有主观能动性，能修身，能自我完善，人的可贵在于人本身。

3. Although humans are small and life is short, humans possess wisdom, have the initiative, can cultivate themselves, and can self-improve. The value of humans lies in themselves.

4. 说着，秀才要来笔墨，挥笔写下：人无千岁寿，人有万年福。

4. Saying this, the scholar requested for ink and brush, and with a flourish, he wrote: "Man has not a thousand years of life, but man has the fortune of ten thousand years."

5. 季雅刚一到任，就想：如何才能把这里的百姓服务好呢？经过调查，他发现一个叫吕僧珍的人，品行高洁，仗义疏财，很受当地人喜欢。

6. 吕僧珍说，你买贵了！季雅答，一百钱买房子，一千钱买邻居。能找到好榜样砥砺自己，助力修行，一点也不贵。

6. Lu Sengzhen said, "You bought it too expensively!" Ji Ya replied, "One hundred coins to buy a house, a thousand coins to buy a neighbor. It's not expensive at all to find a good role model to inspire and support your spiritual practice."

7. 人活一辈子，生命就像朝生夕死的蜉蝣一样短暂，人生就像沧海一粟那样渺小。最好的活法，不是跟命运死磕，不是跟世界计较，而是活在当下，全心全意让自己精彩。

7. In a lifetime, life is as fleeting as a mayfly that lives from morning to night, and human life is as insignificant as a single grain of sand in the sea. The best way to live is not to stubbornly fight against fate, nor to calculate with the world, but to live in the present, and wholeheartedly make oneself brilliant.

8. 人有万年福，是修为，必须要积极努力，行善积德，实现生命的圆满。

8. Man has a thousand years of fortune, which is a cultivation. It is necessary to be proactive and hardworking, do good deeds and accumulate virtue, and realize the perfection of life.

9. 一切福田，不离方寸。我们发善心，存善念，有善行，与人为善，予人方便，待人宽和，就可以减少祸患和霉运，增加自己的好运和福报。

9. All sources of blessings are within the palm of our hands. By cultivating good intentions, holding good thoughts, performing good deeds, being kind to others, providing convenience for others, and treating people with leniency, we can reduce misfortunes and bad luck, and increase our good fortune and blessings.

10. 苏轼被贬黄州，泛舟赤壁，清风徐来，水波不兴，他想到英雄盖世的曹操，风流儒雅的周瑜，赫赫有名的赤壁之战，最后都淹没在历史的长河中，无声无息。

10. Su Shi was demoted to Huangzhou and sailed on the Red Cliffs. With the gentle breeze blowing and the waves not rising, he thought of heroes like Cao Cao, who was famous for his military prowess, and Zhou Yu, known for his elegant demeanor. They, along with the famous Battle of Red Cliffs, eventually all sank into the long river of history, without a trace.

11. 人是为了活着而活，不是为活着之外的任何事物而活。好好活着，就是对生命最大的尊重。

12. 我们只要积极努力，行善积德，就能改变自己的命运，修来好福气，成全自己的一生。

13. 有的人，一辈子福禄寿喜俱全，活得很满足，死的时候也是儿孙绕膝，哀荣备至。而有的人，一生坎坷，穷困潦倒，郁郁不得志，晚景也很凄凉。这样的结果，既是上天赐予的命运，也是自己修来的因果。

Some people live a lifetime with all blessings of fortune, longevity, happiness, and joy, feeling satisfied in life and surrounded by their children and grandchildren at the time of their death, with great respect and honor. However, some people face hardships throughout their life, live in poverty and misfortune, are frustrated and discontent, and their later years are also very desolate. Such outcomes are both the destiny bestowed by heaven and the cause and effect cultivated by oneself.

14. 我们不知道什么时候会死，但可以决定自己怎么活。

14. We do not know when we will die, but we can decide how we want to live.

15. 南朝时，有一个叫季雅的官员，清正廉洁，公平正义，很受百姓拥戴。但因为触怒权贵，被贬到南康做太守。

15. During the Southern Dynasties, there was an official named Ji Ya, who was known for his honesty, fairness, and justice, and was highly esteemed by the people. However, because he offended the powerful elite, he was demoted to serve as the Governor of Nankang.

16. 蒲松龄说：“达人观之，生死一耳；何必生之为乐，死之为悲？”

16. Pu Songling said: "To a wise person, life and death are of little difference; why should birth be joy and death be sorrow?"

17. 南康位置偏僻，经济贫瘠，民风彪悍，治理难度非常大。而朝中权贵又勾结地方势力和他作对，让他处境非常艰难。

18. 明朝洪武年间，京城一家棺材铺子，生意非常冷落。一位秀才找到老板说，我给你写副对联，保证能让人气多起来。

18. During the Hongwu period of the Ming Dynasty, a coffin shop in the capital city was doing very poorly in business. A scholar approached the shop owner and said, "I will write you a couplet, and I guarantee it will attract more customers."

19. 苏轼在黄州，忘掉所有的不快，清除低谷的烦恼，他寄情山水，寻仙访道，诗书自娱，是一个无可救药的乐天派。

19. In Huangzhou, Su Shi forgot all the unpleasantness, cleared away the troubles of the low point, and indulged himself in the scenery and pursuit of immortality, seeking out Taoist paths, and amused himself with poetry and calligraphy. He was an incurable optimist.

20. 每一个不曾起舞的日子，都是对生命的辜负。

21. 当大家看到崭新宽大的红对联高悬店面，都纷纷驻足观看，点头称赞。

22. 好好修行，给自己更多的福气，尽量让这一辈子圆满，便是生有所得，死无所憾！

22. Practice diligently, bestow more blessings upon yourself, and strive to make this lifetime complete as much as possible. This is to live with a sense of achievement and die without any regrets!

23. 作家史铁生说：“不要急，死亡一直在等着你。好像死亡是一个你非常讨厌的结婚对象。那么好吧，既然必须和这个无聊的家伙结婚，我一定要把我的忠贞，我的热情，我的好奇心，我的爱浪费在这个世界上，把一副空壳留给它。”

23. The writer Shi Tiesheng said: "Don't be in a hurry, death is always waiting for you. It seems that death is a marriage partner you really dislike. So, since we have to marry this boring guy, I must waste my loyalty, my passion, my curiosity, and my love on this world, leaving an empty shell for it."

24. 《太上感应篇》说：“一日有三善，三年天必降之福。”

25. 三寸气在千般用，一旦无常万事休。

25. As long as there is a breath of life, there are myriad uses; once the time of change comes, everything comes to an end.

26. 死亡是一个必然会到来的节日，不管你如何抗拒、害怕、排斥，都没有任何意义。既然如此，不如好好珍惜当下的生活，把自己的日子经营得精彩纷呈，诗意盎然。

26. Death is an inevitable festival that will inevitably arrive, regardless of how you resist, fear, or reject it, it holds no meaning. Therefore, why not cherish the present life and make your days colorful and poetic.
