In the complex and chaotic world, how to maintain a peaceful heart? —
1. Sometimes when we face things that are not to our liking in life, we tend to get frustrated and restless, which can severely affect our social relationships and physical and mental health. So, how can we cultivate a composed and tranquil mindset?
2. The change of mind, the change of circumstances. Sometimes in life, we laugh at others, and then we are laughed at by others. So no matter how painful the things we have experienced are, they will gradually be forgotten in the end, because nothing can surpass the passage of time! Sometimes, don't see the world as too lonely. Just as we sometimes miss certain people, there are always certain people who are missing us all the time.
3. Therefore, to cultivate a calm and composed mindset, we need to face everything with an indifferent heart, neither being overjoyed by material things nor being saddened by personal circumstances.
4. So in our actual lives, if things do not turn out as we wish, we must believe that there is another arrangement, and that everything happening now, at this moment, is the best arrangement!
5. A speck of dust from the era, falling on an individual's head, becomes a mountain. A cruel prank of fate might lead someone to an irretrievable state, where a hundred bodies cannot atone.
6. Life requires "resetting." After a period of time, one should "reset" the past and start anew. Don't let the past become a burden on the present; only by lightening your load can you travel further. The human mind is like a container; over time, it is inevitable that there will be sediment at the bottom. You should constantly clear out the sediment in your mind, let go when it's time to let go, and forget what needs to be forgotten. Remove the trash from your mind, refresh yourself every day, and only in this way can you be reborn.
7. When someone ignores you, don't be heartbroken. Everyone has their own life, and no one can accompany you all the time. The most embarrassing thing is to overestimate your place in someone else's heart. In fact, you know well that the most despicable is emotion, and the coldest is people's hearts. What is yours is yours. Some things are like the sand in your hand; the more tightly you grasp them, the faster they will slip away. You have tried your best, cherished them, and have no regrets. The rest, leave to fate.
8. Firstly, it is important to strengthen one's own learning, for only through learning can one cultivate a peaceful mindset. Everything has cause and effect, which is known as "sow a seed, reap a crop." To have a peaceful mindset, one must start by improving oneself through reading. Generally, people with修养 are those who can focus and study. In this restless society, a person who does not read or learn cannot have a good mindset. As the saying goes: "A person with books and poetry exudes a natural charm." Here, the "natural charm" refers to a kind of accomplishment, a kind of demeanor, and more importantly, a kind of mindset. Being able to focus and calm down to read is already a valuable virtue, and what's more, reading also enhances one's knowledge and scholarship. Such people are truly extraordinary.
9. Forgetting is painful, as it was in the past, and as it is today. However, the pain in the past was due to the inability to remember, while today's pain is the fear of not being able to forget. Today is a new beginning. You may be sad and upset for some reason, but you can also find a reason to make yourself happy. As people climb higher, their hearts should be able to sink lower. When the heart is grounded, the path beneath the feet can be walked safely.
10. Self-liberation, take everything lightly. Life itself does not have too many demands. Unfortunately, in reality, people either intentionally or unintentionally amplify their desires, leading to restlessness and impatience. In fact, our lives every day do not require too many material needs. Simplicity is the greatest treasure left to us by the ancient sages, but unfortunately, excessive material desires of modern people have led to its loss.
11. In his own world, he repairs the fence and plants chrysanthemums, sitting and lying as he wishes. A person with a tranquil mind wins from the start.
12. 告诉孩子哀痛、失望、气愤除了影响自己还会影响别人的情绪;
12. Tell the child that sadness, disappointment, and anger not only affect one's own emotions but also those of others.
13. Living, one must learn to accept. All loves, hatreds, and emotional entanglements are a part of life. Don't choose based on emotions, and don't measure with standards. Only by embracing the colorful and diverse can one appreciate the varying landscapes. You must understand tolerance; no one in the outside world or among others is your assumption. The Buddha has a compassionate broad chest, and people make friends through forgiveness. The coming together and parting are predetermined by fate, and right and wrong are influenced by one's heart. You should be calm and forget the heavy burdens of your past soul, which become the shackles of your spirit. Only by letting go can you avoid being too burdened.
14. Thirdly, one must have the spirit of self-discipline. In order to make positive progress, one should strive to emulate the virtues of the wise. There are differences between people. Confucius said, "Among any three people, there must be someone I can learn from." As a person, one should learn from others' strengths and compensate for one's own weaknesses. Only in this way can one maintain a positive and upward mindset. In this society, what is most needed in terms of personal conduct is not addition but subtraction. This subtraction is the spirit of self-discipline, which means controlling one's mouth, one's legs, and one's words and actions. Only by controlling oneself can one be considered self-disciplined and self-reflective. As a person, one should be like a lotus flower: "Emerging from the mud yet unsoiled." If you can do this, you will be a calm and composed individual, someone who can endure solitude.
15. In the world, amidst love and desires, one is born alone, dies alone, departs alone, and comes alone. When it is time to move to the realms of joy and suffering, one must bear it oneself, with no one else to take one's place.
16. There is nothing in this world that cannot be let go of. When you hurt, you will naturally let it go.

17. We may not climb mountains all our lives, but you must have a mountain in your heart. It makes you always strive for higher, it gives you a direction to fight for, and it allows you to see your own hope whenever you lift your head.
18. We had so eagerly yearned for the ups and downs of fate, only to find out in the end that the most charming scenery in life is the calmness and composure within us... We had so much anticipated external recognition, only to realize in the end that the world is our own, having nothing to do with others.
19. 不要滥交,有三两个知己足已,别妄想和谁都能成为好朋友;
19. Do not have too many acquaintances; a few close friends are enough. Don't delude yourself into thinking you can become good friends with everyone.
20. The quieter the mind, the more objectively one can understand the world. It's not that one lacks the ability to see through things; it's just that the mind is too chaotic. 'Without dispassion, one cannot clarify one's ambitions; without tranquility, one cannot achieve great things.' Calmness begets wisdom, and wise people are not confused. Apart from knowledge, it is more important to have a calm mind. To see the world clearly, one must settle one's own heart. When the mind is chaotic, everything is chaotic. Don't let a small pebble shatter your mental strength.
21. If the tea gets cold, don't keep adding more; even if you do, it won't have the original taste anymore. If someone leaves, don't try to keep them; even if you do, it won't be the same feeling. If love is gone, don't keep longing for it; even if you do, it won't be the same heartache. Slowly, everything will fade away, and gradually, everything will become distant. Treasure what you have when you possess it, and silently bless them when they leave. In the journey of life, no one is supposed to accompany you until the end.
22. Leave a bit of benefit for others to enjoy, leave a bit of path for others to walk, and leave a bit of time for yourself to contemplate.

24. Sometimes this world is so vast, too vast for us to meet in a lifetime. Sometimes it's so small, so small that you can see your smiling face just by looking up. Therefore, always be grateful when you meet, cherish each other when in love, and be graceful when turning away, and always smile when saying goodbye.
25. The ancients said: "All things are inferior, only reading is high." What does this "high" mean? It refers to the best and most beautiful in life. However, some people want to read, know that reading is good, but they cannot read, and they do not want to read. In this case, they can only become rough people and restless individuals, and they will have no chance of solitude and tranquility. It will also be more difficult for them to enjoy the calm and peaceful state of mind in life. Reading can enhance one's knowledge and scholarship, and can elevate one's character. To be a good person and to be a person of positive significance, the only choice is to start with reading. Without reading, people will become restless and ignorant, selfish and capricious.

27. All things in life are not calculated, but come from virtue; not sought for, but cultivated. With an open mind and a thorough understanding, be able to take and let go of things. 38. Show more tolerance and magnanimity; wave a hand, smile, and all the unpleasantness will become a thing of the past. Because we are powerless, we should go with the flow; because our hearts are at ease, we should be content with what comes our way. A simple heart makes our world particularly simple.

40. Life is like water, and life is like tea. Some people will say good things about you, while others will say bad things. But as long as we conduct ourselves and our affairs with a clear conscience, we should not be obsessed with others' judgments. When someone speaks to you with disrespect, do not take it to heart, and do not let it cause you to be troubled, because these words cannot change the facts, but they may disturb your mind. If your mind is disturbed, everything will be in disarray.

43. A calm person does not care too much about material things beyond themselves, but is dedicated to the path beneath their feet. Even if they fail, they do not worry about gains or losses, living openly and sincerely, calmly and happily.
