35. In this vast world, desires are abundant, and the mind is enslaved by material things, while humans are enslaved by their own minds, leading to the unnecessary addition of many troubles and sufferings. 39. Those who realize their nature can directly perceive the Buddha-nature manifesting in mountains, rivers, the earth, and all sentient beings. Therefore, they directly perceive the world as an illusion. They have little desire, anger, and ignorance, and in terms of achieving the fruit of liberation, in addition to overcoming the ego-views, they also have a light aversion to the hindrances of nature. If one were to look for similarities, the same principle can be seen in all things under the heavens. If so, one would not know how to observe with the eyes, how to listen with the ears, and the spirit and thought would also be wandering." Chang Ji asked again: "If Wang Luo cultivates his beliefs through his own experiences and wisdom and explains the world's myriad things with his own truths, will his students do the same?" Confucius replied: "One can see one's own shadow in still water, but not in flowing water; only still things can reflect the stillness of things. All people in the world are created by heaven, and only Yu Shun's words and actions are the most upright. Fortunately, with his model, the righteous spirit can spread. If one maintains the original bravery and fearlessness, then even a lone warrior can dominate a thousand horsemen. Those who pursue fame and honor can do so, not to mention those who have thoughts that dominate the earth, embrace all things, consider their own bodies and senses as external things, master the wisdom of the world, and seek the prophets who pursue the noble spiritual realm. 58. To focus on the present, one needs to maintain the "emptiness" of the mind, and continuous practice can keep this "emptiness" continually extending. It turns out that it is difficult for a person to maintain the continuity of "emptiness"; the "emptiness" of the mind is often interrupted by thoughts generated by one's own karma, thus losing the "emptiness." 68. Therefore, when the Bhikshus determine their fruit positions, even if they have personally proven their mind and realized their nature, they should still rely on the Buddhist scriptures to avoid making incorrect judgments and falling into great false speech or unrighteous teachings (such as the case of the "Panda Oil Oil" who declared that realizing one's mind and nature is entering the first ground, which is an overestimation and misjudgment, as has been proven by the Buddhist scriptures previously mentioned).
