3. One who loves learning and studies diligently, learns for self-improvement; one who does not think, is weary of thinking, and abandons thinking, will not achieve any results.

14. Happiness in life often comes from taking things lightly; filial piety and human relationships are usually maintained through tolerance. Things are always enjoyable when one is content; and a person's character is naturally elevated when they have no desires.

30. Do not wait for next year's flowers to be better; cherish today's spring while it is still intense. With talent, one feels the vastness of the heavens and earth; with deep affection, one doubts the lightness of Mount Hua.

37. Do not let self-contempt become self-encouragement; do not treat fate as divine law. When the divine wanders beyond material things,烦恼 (烦情) is less; when the heart is focused on books, joy is abundant.
