30. 人起心发，树起根发。

31. 没有锯不倒的树，没有敲不响的钟。

31. There is no tree that cannot be cut down, and no bell that cannot be rung.

32. 山高流水长，志大精神旺。

32. The mountain is high, the flowing water is long, and the ambition is great, the spirit is vigorous.

33. 然而，后来一场大雨，冲毁了山上的道路，香客要想山上只能从山间小路攀援而上，由于道路崎岖，香客上不了山，进不了香，原本热闹的古庙门日渐冷落下来。这日，正好赶上阎王从这里路过，看到菩萨的窘境，不免唏嘘。木菩萨听说阎王有一捉魂网，专门用来捉恶人魂魄用，恶人魂魄一旦捉魂网捉住捉，就会一病不起，无法继续作恶。

33. However, later a heavy rain washed away the roads on the mountain, and the pilgrims could only climb up through the narrow paths between the mountains. Due to the rugged terrain, the pilgrims were unable to reach the mountain and offer their incense, causing the originally bustling ancient temple gate to become increasingly desolate. On this day, King of Hell happened to pass by here and saw the plight of the bodhisattva, could not help but sigh. The wooden bodhisattva heard that King of Hell has a soul-catching net, which is specifically used to catch the souls of evil people. Once the souls of evil people are caught by the soul-catching net, they will fall ill and be unable to continue doing evil.

34. 没有崇高的理想，青春就将枯萎；没有伟大的志愿，生命就将暗淡无光。

44. 意思是：做人要有骨气有志气，不能丢了尊严。这句话只是用来形容做人的道理，人活在这个世界上，就必须要有志气要争气，拥有自强不息的上进心，才能活得有尊严。
