Encourage present endeavors and plan for future achievements; a gentleman becomes more skilled in adversity, and should not lose the elegance of a phoenix; in motion, true calm is found, and true joy is seen in suffering. Remember the difficulty of accumulation, and often reflect on the ease of collapse; one's conduct should not change too much, and one's sharpness should not be too exposed; understand the nature of the world, bear the heavy responsibility of the world, and leave room for everything, for five parts is enough to avoid regret. Be fearless of human envy, and not afraid of being criticized for doing evil; virtues and demerits should not be mixed, and恩仇 should not be too clear; the wonders of nature cannot be matched by wisdom and cunning, a single thought can move gods and spirits, and a single action can move the heavens and earth; culture is not better than simplicity, reading the present is not better than studying the past; a kind heart brings prosperity to descendants, a strong root brings prosperity to branches. The path is just and impartial, learning should be alert to things, believe in others to show one's sincerity, and suspect others to reveal one's cunning; benevolence should start from oneself and become more abundant, and authority should be strict first and then lenient; do not be bound by desires, and be in harmony with the essence; if one can endure and endure, one will achieve the realm of freedom; it is better to be killed by a small man than to be tolerated by a gentleman. Malicious rumors are like clouds covering the sun, sweet words are like wind infiltrating the skin; read to the point of joy, and observe things to the point of transformation; harmony to promote righteousness, modesty to bear fame and fortune; many speakers do not care about their actions, and readers may not truly understand. Enjoy the natural charm, and the scenery is not far away; when the mind is calm, the essence is realized, and when the water is clear, the moon's reflection is bright; it is better to observe the heart than the appearance, and the spiritual use is better than the material use; cultivate tranquility and stillness, and be calm in the face of change; modesty is not inferior to elegance, and simplicity is better than richness; emotions of joy and sorrow are all the work of the body and mind; the world changes endlessly, and everything must be understood in a calm manner; the world is not absolute, and comfort is just ordinary. Living in the world is like flowing water and falling flowers, the body and mind are all free; understand the wonders of the universe, and recognize the articles of the heavens and earth; living according to one's nature, the noble are not better than the common people; desires have hierarchy, but there is no difference in struggle; do not be bound by thoughts, and do everything with the flow; when one is unified with others, clouds will stay and birds will accompany. 43. 嫉财莫嫉食，怨生莫怨死。人见白头嗔，我见白头喜，多少少年亡，不到白头死。

43. Do not envy wealth and do not resent food, do not complain about life and do not resent death. When others see white hair and are angry, I see white hair and am joyful. How many young people die, but not all reach old age.

44. 大意两只手臂合起来才能抱住的大树，是由细小的嫩芽长成的；九层的高台，是由一筐一筐的土堆积而成的；千里远的路程，是从脚下的第一步开始的。

53. Coming like a storm or rain, departing like a tiny speck of dust. The waves behind the Yangtze River urge those ahead, as new people in the world follow the old.

54. 敌人变成朋友，比朋友更可靠；朋友变成敌人，比敌人更危险。

54. An enemy turned friend is more reliable than a friend, and a friend turned enemy is more dangerous than an enemy.

55. 生事事生何日了，害人人害几时休。冤家宜解不宜结，各自回头看后头。

55. How long will the born things be born, and when will the harm done by people cease? It is better to resolve grievances than to entangle them, and everyone should look back at what lies ahead.

56. 一个人去买鹦鹉，看到一只鹦鹉前标：此鹦鹉会两门语言，售价二百元。另一只鹦鹉前则标道：此鹦鹉会四门语言，售价四百元。该买哪只呢？两只都毛色光鲜，非常灵活可爱。这人转啊转，拿不定主意。结果突然发现一只老掉了牙的鹦鹉，毛色暗淡散乱，标价八百元。这人赶紧将老板叫来：这只鹦鹉是不是会说八门语言？店主说：不。这人奇怪了：那为什么又老又丑，又没有能力，会值这个数呢？店主回答：因为另外两只鹦鹉叫这只鹦鹉老板。这故事告诉我们，真正的***，不一定自己能力有多强，只要懂信任，懂放权，懂珍惜，就能团结比自己更强的力量，从而提升自己的身价。相反许多能力非常强的人却因为过于完美主义，事必躬亲，什么人都不如自己，最后只能做最好的攻关人员，销售代表，成不了优秀的***。

In front of the other parrot, the sign read: "This parrot speaks four languages and is priced at 400 yuan." Which one should he buy? Both parrots had bright feathers and were very agile and cute. The person kept turning and couldn't make up his mind. Then suddenly he discovered an old and toothless parrot with dull and disheveled feathers, priced at 800 yuan. The person quickly called the owner over: "Does this parrot speak eight languages?" The store owner replied: "No." The person was puzzled: "Then why is it so old, ugly, and lacking in ability, yet priced so high?" The store owner answered: "Because the other two parrots call this parrot 'the boss'." This story teaches us that real leaders are not necessarily those with the strongest abilities, but those who understand trust, delegation, and appreciation, can unite stronger forces, thus enhancing their own value. Conversely, many people with very strong abilities can only become the best at solving difficult problems, sales representatives, and never become outstanding leaders.

59. If a person does not have a sincere and honest thought, they become like a beggar, with everything being empty and insubstantial; if a person does not possess a flexible and lively approach to the world, they become like a wooden person, encountering obstacles everywhere.

60. 学如逆水行舟，不进则退，心似平原走马，易放难收

60. Studying is like rowing against the current; if you do not make progress, you will regress. The mind is like a horse galloping on a plain; it is easy to let go but hard to rein in.

61. 人贫不语，水平不流。一家养女百家求，一马不行百马忧。

61. A poor person has nothing to say, and water does not flow smoothly. When one daughter is raised, a hundred families seek her; when one horse cannot go, a hundred horses are worried.

63. A real man can bend and stretch. For those who always cause you trouble or even bully you, if you can endure it, then endure it; there is no need to constantly confront a brute. However, you must keep a clear head and keep score; accumulate old and new grievances, and justice and truth will be on your side. Seize the opportunity to thoroughly teach him a lesson once. Within the authority granted by the law, go all out to harass and beat him up; let him remember forever: besides your own father, no one will indulge these stinking habits of yours.

With their division of labor and collaboration, the temple presented a scene of prosperity and vitality.

82. Do not worry about being few, but worry about not being equal; do not worry about being poor, but worry about not being at peace.

83. 不要骑两头马，不要喝两头茶。

83. Don't ride two horses at the same time, and don't drink two cups of tea at once.

84. 莺花犹怕春光老，岂可教人枉度春。红粉佳人休使老，风流浪子莫教贫。
