In the bustling world, practicing the path of the spiritual soul is like climbing a peak. Let go of sorrow, maintain sincerity, and be neither hurried nor restless, then you can glimpse the true self.

1. The so-called "rarely confused" is a wise fool who appears to be confused but is actually clear in mind. People who are rarely confused do not value the result but the process; they see through, let go, and hide their wisdom in their hearts. Facing the complicated and chaotic world, they lead simple lives and do simple things, remain calm in chaos, and are not worried in trouble, responding to changes with steadfastness. Only by being rarely confused and adapting to circumstances can one possess a tranquil place in the heart, seeing through but not saying through.

2. Perceiving the cold and warmth of human emotions in the world, choose the most innocent way to live your entire life. To know the world but not be worldly, you can forever maintain the most pure version of yourself. To know the world but not be worldly, you can traverse the years and frost, not afraid of tears welling up in your eyes. Youth does not fear the long journey of time, with a gentle song and a bright heart within.

3. No one is perfect, and no gold is pure. When water is too clear, there are no fish in it. In all things, leave room for the unexpected, and don't be too obsessed with gains and losses. Understand the concept of going with the flow, be content with what you have, and recognize that sometimes being confused is the wisdom of life.

4. Apart from life and death, there is nothing in life that is a big deal. You do not need to rush into doing things, and even less so should you treat your life in a hurried manner. Only by calming down, not being in a hurry, being composed, and not disrupting your own rhythm can you enjoy the tranquility of the years and the romantic poetry of life.

10. The best form of kindness is to see through something but not say it out loud. While extending kindness, one should also consider the other person's dignity, not make them feel embarrassed, and leave them with a sense of dignity. To know the world's ways without being worldly is a kind heart that shines from within. Always thinking of others, it softens and nourishes like spring rain, making people feel warm and comfortable.

11. Everyone is accustomed to bullying honest people because there is no risk, no cost, and no consequences in doing so. When there are disputes over interests, the interests of honest people are the first to be sacrificed in order to achieve a balance among others. When there are the most difficult, most exhausting, and most dangerous tasks, it is always the honest people who are sent first, because they will not complain, refuse, or grumble.

18. We realized only then that it was not love; it was just lying to ourselves. The person you thought you couldn't live without, you realize, was never truly irreplaceable. After you've cried all your tears, someone else will bring you joy. When you're heartbroken, you discover that the person who doesn't love you isn't worth the pain. 25. The most painful is that period of hesitation between letting go and holding on. When one finally decides to let go, there is a sense of relief instead. From then on, the pain and love are deeply buried in the heart. Life is like that, inevitably filled with pain and injury, no matter whether I have ever held on to them or not, those things have already left me. Some things cannot be looked back on, some memories cannot be sorted out, and some people can only be forever buried.

What you can possess is ultimately limited; if you can't let go of one thing, you must inevitably give up another. Giving up does not mean you are weak; it is a kind of wisdom that allows you to perceive all aspects of life and have the courage to let go. 44. As the saying goes, "There should be a measure in speaking and a degree in jest." Not all truths can be spoken in full, nor can all good words be expressed straightforwardly. From ancient times to the present, many people have been ruined or caused trouble by their thoughtless words. 54.

53. Having been entangled in the political whirlpool for many years, Wang Mang had deeply understood the mysteries of politics. His idealism had not wavered at all, but the way he pursued his ideals had quietly changed. In the early stages of his career, he was known for his unwavering strength, strictly adhering to principles in his work, and speaking without hesitation. This character led him to endure much hardship in the political world in his early years. Now, however, he had infused a touch of gentleness into his strength, becoming more methodical in his actions. He had learned to retreat, to wait, and to exploit others' weaknesses. ---- Zhang Hongjie, "The Five Fates of Chinese Emperors" 54. At the age of less than forty, he was already considered an extraordinary figure. Now, reaching the age of twenty-five would seem ridiculous and laughable. I do not believe that the poets and writers of elegance and extravagance were particularly dignified at that time, but I do not remember the literary world having as many amorous escapades as it does today. We covered up some of our absurd behaviors with a silence to maintain our dignity, and did not consider this to be insincere. 61. Things that are too beautiful and too pure are a form of harm to people, and they are also too cruel. Too beautiful and too pure put pressure on people, making them dare not approach. Too beautiful and too pure cannot withstand the wind and rain, and can only grow in the springtime, but the springtime is too fleeting, and beauty and purity quickly wither.
