Time fills in the gaps, but idleness cannot accomplish anything; with diligence, there is no difficulty in the world; with laziness, all things come to a halt.
1. You spend your time in bed and achieve weight gain, you spend your time playing and become decadent, you spend your time on pleasures and become堕落的。On the contrary, if you spend your time on studying, you will acquire knowledge; if you spend your time on work, you will have achievements; if you spend your time on communication, you will have good relationships; if you spend your time on exercising, you will have health.
2. Hard work does not necessarily lead to wealth, and struggle does not always change one's destiny. However, we must always remember: hard work and struggle are always the underlying logic for changing one's destiny.
3. If one does not strive when young, one will only regret in old age. A person must strive, just as a horse must be set free. It is not the speed that matters, but the fear of standing still. It takes a thousand days to build a ship, but only one day to cross a river. The path is made by walking, and success is in the hands of those who act.
4. The character "勤" (diligence) is the most important principle in life. Zeng Guofan always believed that whether at home, in office, or in military service, one should take "diligence" as the foundation. As the heavens reward diligence, no matter how talented a person may be, as long as they can be diligent and perseverant, their intelligence will naturally accumulate little by little.
5. Diligence leads to proficiency while leisure leads to neglect; actions are shaped by thought while destruction comes from carelessness. Indolence is the root of all evil. Overcoming indolence is always the starting point for moving towards the good.
6. Perhaps we are just doing a very ordinary and low-paying job, and no matter how hard we try, we cannot achieve financial freedom. However, we can increase our income and, to some extent, improve the living conditions of our families. Maybe we are just a small cog in the unit, with a ceiling in our future that is within reach, but our efforts can, to some extent, help us acquire more social resources, allowing ourselves and our families to live more smoothly in society.
7. Where time is spent, there flowers bloom. Be a diligent person, journey through storms and sunshine for your dreams, and give your all for a better life.
8. A year's plan depends on spring, a day's plan depends on the morning, and a lifetime's plan depends on diligence.
9. The efforts of a day may not yield results, and the efforts of a month may not meet expectations, but if you can persevere and accumulate the daily efforts day by day, it may coalesce into a force that wears away even the hardest rock, and produce a spectacular outcome.
10. Those who achieve great undertakings do not necessarily need exceptional intelligence, but they must possess extraordinary diligence. The ancients said: "Industry can compensate for natural deficiency, and it is a good lesson to say that one's talent is a result of one's efforts." Indeed, no one can rely solely on talent to succeed. God has given humans talent, and diligence transforms talent into genius. Great success and hard work are proportional; with one unit of labor comes one unit of harvest. Accumulated day by day, from little to much, miracles can be created. "Without accumulating small steps, one cannot reach a thousand miles." This is the principle that Xunzi taught, which is to teach people to be diligent and aspire upwards.
11. Mount Tai is so majestic, having been formed by the accumulation of countless grains of dust; the Yellow River is so vast, having been gathered from a drop of water at a time. Once we focus on a task, we concentrate all our life energy there, giving our all and persisting in action. With the加持 of time, we are sure to be surprised by the unexpected.
12. The sages said, "With diligence, there are no difficulties in the world." Throughout history, how many famous people have not achieved success through diligence? Lu Meng of the Wu state during the Three Kingdoms period, and the modern mathematician Hua Luogeng, both achieved success through their own diligence. Edison once said, "Great achievements come from long-term diligence." Therefore, to achieve success, one must be diligent. Success is the result of diligence, and diligence is a necessary condition for success.
13. Diligence can compensate for one's shortcomings, and a measure of effort brings a measure of talent.
14. As ordinary people, we have no background, no resources, no channels, no support, no VIPs, no connections, and it's possible that the end of our lives will still be that of an ordinary person. However, this does not negate the significance of struggle. The struggle of ordinary people is not necessarily about changing one's destiny against the heavens, but rather about overcoming current difficulties and improving one's life to be better than it currently is.
15. To go a step further from the hundred-foot pole, a thousand-mile journey starts from one's feet. The weight on the scale may be small, but it can bear a thousand jin. It's okay to start slow, but you must definitely take action.
16. We are all ordinary people, without extraordinary talents or brilliant minds. We can only rely on our diligent and nimble efforts, do more things, strive more, and fight more to secure more wealth and resources for ourselves.
17. Accumulating soil forms a mountain, where winds and rains arise; accumulating water forms a deep pool, where dragons are born; accumulating good deeds forms virtue, and divine enlightenment is naturally acquired, with the sacred heart fully prepared.
18. The stars do not disappoint those who journey through the night, hard work is not wasted on the diligent, even if we are born ordinary, even if we are in dire poverty, as long as we keep striving, we can create legends.
19. Do not squander your youth by indulging in trivial pursuits; do not succumb to decadence during the time when you should strive for success. If you do not work hard in your youth, you will lead a wretched life in middle age. And if you fail to strive in your middle years, your old age will be惨绝人寰.
20. With diligence, there is no difficulty in the world; with laziness, all things come to a halt.
21. A profound sentence for enlightenment: "The playfulness of 20s leads to the helplessness of 30s; the helplessness of 30s results in the meaninglessness of 40s; the meaninglessness of 40s lays the foundation for the failure of 50s; and the failure of 50s brews a lifetime of aimless toil."
