4. 好逸恶劳或懈怠，可以说是人的通病。由于贪图安逸，往往导致心神散漫，做事就不容易成功；因为恶劳，所以急功近利，只求速成，一遇到挫折就灰心，一碰到困难就畏缩；尤有甚者，怨天尤人，不但对于前途毫无帮助，反而起惑造业，空费大好的光阴，实在是可惜！对治之道无他，唯佛法中的「精进」是最好的针砭良药。

4. Indulging in idleness or laziness can be said to be a common disease among humans. Due to the pursuit of comfort, it often leads to scattered thoughts and it becomes difficult to succeed in tasks; because of aversion to hard work, there is a desire for quick success, only seeking to accomplish things rapidly, and upon encountering setbacks, one becomes discouraged, and upon facing difficulties, one shrinks back. Worst of all, blaming others and the heavens, this not only offers no help to the future, but also leads to confusion and creates evil, squandering the precious time, which is truly a waste! The way to counteract this is not other than the "zeal" in Buddhism, which is the best cure for this ailment.

5. 愚痴的人，一直想要别人了解他。有智慧的人，却努力的了解自己。

5. Foolish people always want others to understand them. But wise people strive to understand themselves.

6. 70请一定要有自信，你就是一道风景，没必要在别人风景里面仰视。

6. Please be confident, you are a landscape in yourself. There's no need to look up at others' landscapes.

7. 这位勤居士立即听从佛陀的开示，专心观照，转化自己柔软的身体，最后终于如其所愿，以五体投地礼向佛恭敬礼拜。佛陀问勤居士说：「你曾经不厌不倦地做过那些事情，才能让你有此福报生在净居天呢？」

7. The diligent layman immediately heeded the Buddha's teachings, focused his mind, and transformed his soft body. In the end, as he had wished, he respectfully prostrated himself before the Buddha with his five limbs. The Buddha asked the diligent layman, "What were those things you tirelessly did that allowed you to be blessed with a birth in the Pure Abodes?"

8. 任何安慰都没有自己看透来得奏效，所以不要整天难过了，明明还有好多路要走，好多坑要过，乖乖闭上眼睛睡个觉，明天还是女汉子一条。

8. No comfort is as effective as understanding oneself, so don't be sad all day long. There are still many paths to walk and many pitfalls to overcome. Close your eyes and have a good sleep, and you'll still be a strong woman tomorrow.

9. 大王！所以，您不能没有修学的善知识、善同伴，您应当这样修学。

9. Your Majesty! Therefore, you cannot do without the virtuous knowledge and virtuous companions in your studies. You should study in this manner.

12. The resolute of spirit is the pillar of achievement and fame. If one does not stop climbing the mountain due to difficulties and dangers, one will surely reach the peak.

The third is to offer all that the monastics need without any fatigue or weariness, which is why I am able to have this blessing of being reborn in the Pure Abode today."

37. 3 Even though the path may be rugged and uneven, the wheels must continue to roll forward; even if the rivers and seas are turbulent, the ships must continue to sail.

43. "Oh, Bodhisattva! Please accept my repentance!" The prince, upon hearing the nectar of the Dharma, immediately knelt down on the ground and wept profusely.

44. May your wild, immense efforts be fruitful.

45. 其实，我不会很贪，我要的不多。一个平平淡淡陪我走到最后的爱人。一个疯疯癫癫 陪我二到永远的朋友。仅此而已。

45. In fact, I'm not very greedy; I don't ask for much. Just a simple, ordinary lover who can walk with me to the end. A crazy friend who will accompany me from two to forever. That's all.

46. 47我一直以为人是慢慢变老的，其实不是，人是一瞬间变老的。

46. 47 I always thought that people age slowly, but actually, it's not true; people age all at once.

47. 「是啊，大王！依我教导的正法与戒律去修学，就是结交了善知识、善同伴，而不是恶知识、恶同伴，因为我可以引导深陷生老病死、忧悲恼苦的众生，趣向解脱，成就解脱。

47. "Yes, Your Majesty! By practicing the Dharma and precepts as I have taught, one is associating with good knowledge and good companions, not with evil knowledge and evil companions, because I can guide the sentient beings who are deeply immersed in the sufferings of birth, old age, illness, and death, towards liberation, and achieve liberation."

48. 58在你不害怕的时间去斗牛，这不算什么；在你害怕时不去斗牛，也没有什么了不起；只有在你害怕时还去斗牛才是真正了不起。

48. 58 It's nothing to fight bulls when you're not afraid; it's also nothing special to avoid fighting bulls when you're afraid; only when you fight bulls despite being afraid is truly remarkable.

50. 身外再精彩，他人再美好，都与你无甚关系；你就是你，只须梳理自己的羽毛，飞你想去的地方。世界再冷漠、别人再虚伪，这些也与你无甚关系；你还是你，若把生活看成一种刁难，你终会输；若把生活当做一种雕刻，你总能赢。别以为世界抛弃了你，其实世界压根没空搭理你。

50. No matter how wonderful the world outside may be, no matter how beautiful others may seem, it has little to do with you; you are you, just need to groom your own feathers and fly to the place you want to go. No matter how cold the world is, or how fake others may be, these have little to do with you either; you still remain yourself. If you view life as a form of harassment, you will eventually lose; but if you treat life as a sculpture, you will always win. Don't think that the world has abandoned you; in fact, the world has never had the time to pay attention to you.

51. 佛陀也借此因缘教诫弟子们，修行就是要对法有坚定的信心，即使是已证果位的声闻与菩萨，仍是不断地反复熏修，从听经闻法中，检视自心，去除无明烦恼。所以大众若能以此惕励，修行必能有所成就。（参考《大智度论。卷十》）

51. The Buddha also used this opportunity to instruct his disciples that the practice of cultivation is to have a steadfast faith in the Dharma. Even those who have achieved the fruit of the Arhats and Bodhisattvas continue to repeatedly cultivate and refine themselves, examining their own hearts through listening to the teachings and eliminating ignorance and烦恼. Therefore, if the assembly can take this as a caution and incentive, their cultivation is sure to yield achievements. (Refer to the "Mahayana Mahamudra Sutra. Volume Ten")

52. 有一次，尊者阿难从禅修中起来，去见佛陀报告他的心得：

52. On one occasion, the venerable Ananda arose from his meditation, went to see the Buddha to report his insights:

53. 每想到诸佛为度众生故，勤求佛道，如此精进，又怎不惭愧、感动？《阿弥陀经》中提到「干陀诃提菩萨」与「常精进菩萨」。「干陀诃提菩萨」翻译起来，就是「不休息的菩萨」；所谓「不休息」与「常精进」，都是非常认真的修行方法。这就是表示，当释迦牟尼佛在讲《阿弥陀经》的时候，有这么多的大菩萨在听佛说法；这个不休息菩萨与常精进菩萨都是境界很高深的菩萨，可见《阿弥陀经》不是一般的经典，等于是所有的大菩萨都来听佛讲的经典。

53. Whenever I think of the Buddha who diligently seeks the path to enlightenment for the sake of benefiting all sentient beings, and their such diligence and perseverance, how can one not feel ashamed and moved? The "Sutra of Amitabha" mentions the Bodhisattva "Gandhakoti" and the Bodhisattva "Diligent Perseverance." When translated, "Gandhakoti" means "the Bodhisattva who does not rest"; "not resting" and "diligent perseverance" both refer to very serious methods of practice. This indicates that when Shakyamuni Buddha was teaching the "Sutra of Amitabha," there were so many great bodhisattvas listening to the Buddha's teachings; both the "Bodhisattva who does not rest" and the "Bodhisattva of Diligent Perseverance" are bodhisattvas with very profound levels, showing that the "Sutra of Amitabha" is not an ordinary scripture; it is as if all the great bodhisattvas come to listen to the Buddha's teachings.

54. 没人能烦恼你，除非拿别人的言行来烦恼自己；没有放不下的事情，除非自己不愿意放下。

54. No one can trouble you unless you trouble yourself with others' words and actions; there is no matter that cannot be let go, unless you are unwilling to let it go.

55. 这辈子，和谁过、怎样过、过多久，有人因为爱情、有人因为物质、有人因为容貌、有人因为前途、有人因为压力 而当这日子真的要和选择的人一起过了，你才明白：钱够花就好，容貌不吓人就行。其实真正的幸福很简单：只要笑容比眼泪多，你就找对人了。

55. In this lifetime, with whom you spend your time, how you spend it, and for how long, depends on various factors for different people: some for love, some for material wealth, some for appearance, some for prospects, and some for pressure. But when these days really do require living with the person you've chosen, you realize: just having enough money to spend is fine, and as long as your appearance doesn't scare people. In fact, true happiness is quite simple: as long as there are more smiles than tears, you've found the right person.

56. 79所有的胜利，与征服自己的胜利比起来，都是微不足道。所有的失败，与失去自己的失败比起来，更是微不足道。

56. All victories, compared to the victory of conquering oneself, are trivial. All failures, compared to the failure of losing oneself, are even more trivial.

57. 德乐止听到这首偈子后，心中智慧大放光明，才知道蜜蜂是菩萨的化身，马上证得了无生无灭的菩萨境界──精进辩即是释迦如来的前身，德乐止即是弥勒佛的前身。

57. After hearing this verse, Delozi's wisdom shone brightly in his heart, and he realized that bees are the manifestation of the Buddha. He immediately attained the Buddha's realm of neither birth nor extinction—the diligent Dharma debate is the predecessor of Shakyamuni Buddha, and Delozi is the predecessor of Maitreya Buddha.
