30. ● With a bright lamp in the heart, one will not get lost; one can reject darkness and timidity, and possess a cheerful mood, a belief in victory, and an open-mindedness... With a small window in the heart, there will be beautiful sunshine streaming in, and a few warm stories will bring in the breeze of freedom, inviting the fragrance of flowers or the softness of clouds. With strings of a lute in the heart, even when guests leave and tea cools, there will still be a gentle melody playing, and the桂花 will resonate with the sound, transforming into the fragrance of wine.
31. With a heart encircled by a fence, the green vines climb over, and among them are those little secrets, like butterflies resting under the leaves, dreamlike, only describable with the essence of pollen. With a heart adorned with jade steps, the steps are filled with fragrant bags and jade ornaments, with exquisite words and clever plans, and also with delicate shells and mysterious prayer beads. Thus, loneliness no longer descends, and the vase no longer feels lonely. With a heart of a sanctuary, it reveres nobility, dignity, kindness, ideals, and pursuits... All these are beautiful deities. Therefore, it remains inviolable; therefore, it possesses the world and itself. ("With a Heart Luminous")

32. ● The candle has a core, so it can weep tears, injecting ripples of light into the human world; the willow has a core, so it can bow its head in contemplation, bringing a fresh green to the weary earth; the flowers have a core, so they can float out the fragrance from the depths of youth in the sunshine. ("The Candle Has a Core")
33. ●Maturity is a bright yet unblinding glow, a round yet not cloying sound, a composed demeanor that does not require observing others' facial expressions, a dignified air that finally stops appealing to those around, a smile that disregards the hustle and bustle, a calmness that washes away extremism, a substantiality that does not require boasting, and a height that is not steep. ("Maturity")
34. ● Green is the clear spring under the summer tree shade, with several lush green blades rippling in it. Green is the West Lake, both in heavy and light makeup, charming countless writers and poets. Green is the Meiyu Pond described by Mr. Zhu Ziqing, becoming a popular piece of beautiful prose. (Finding My Own Green) Without a doubt, green is the most heart-moving color. Dark green brings a sense of calm and tranquility; light green gives a feeling of tranquility and lightness; tender green inspires thoughts of life. Perhaps the symphony of green evokes reflections on existence, life, and being. (The Symphony of Green)
35. ● With a heart filled with joy, you will feel happy everywhere; with a heart full of generosity, you will feel warmth everywhere. Life is bound to encounter injuries, but as long as you face them bravely and strongly, they will become precious wealth. Keep your heart unguarded, and the sky will be vast and the earth will be long. ("Heart Without Defenses")
36. ● A bluebird cheered as it flew past the window, bringing music from heaven, which dropped like pearls, crisp and clear.
37. In a daze, someone drew a sword and sang loudly, saying, "How can we be mere grass and chaff?" He laughed and left, following the surging Eastward flow of the Yangtze River, passing through the Bashu and Wusha Gorges, and crossing Dongting and Yangzhou; he got drunk in Chang'an, wrote with a flourish on the Golden Throne Hall, deliberately acted in a boisterous manner; the prime minister ground the ink, the bodyguard removed his shoes, and he mocked all the noble and wealthy; he wandered through the nine states, gazed at the river and recited the Milky Way flowing, paid homage to the Canglang, raised cups with friends, reluctant to let his lonely sail travel ten thousand miles, and cried for the late Chaoqing...

39. ● Love is the wind, "It is good to hear the sound of the wind even in poverty." Love is the rain, "The loving peony holds spring tears." Love is the soil, bend down and you can dig out a handful, in which handful of soil does not contain the sweat and blood of our ancestors and the green dreams of future generations? Love is the cloud, look up and you can see a patch, in which patch of cloud has not fallen the aspirations of children and the memories of the elderly? Because of love, we hold gratitude in our hearts, because of love, we are filled with sorrow and anger; because of love, we are willing to live a simple and tranquil life; and also because of love, we dare to go into battle with iron armor and return in a shroud. To bear hardship and endure pain is to live with love; to die with a dignified sense of justice is to die with love; to live cleanly and seriously, isn't it also a form of love? "Love Life"
40. ● Without tragedy, there is no grandeur, without grandeur, there is no nobility. The snow-capped peak is great because it is buried with the bodies of climbers; the vast sea is great because it is scattered with the remnants of boats and ships; the moon landing is great because of the fall of the Challenger; life is great because of gray hair, farewells, and the inevitable,无奈的loss. The ancient Greeks lived by the sea, with countless warriors aspiring for the opposite shore falling in the surging waves, thus giving rise to the brilliant Greek tragedies that have shone for centuries.
41. ● What pulls a wave into motion might be a stretch of shore near it; what draws the countless rivers and streams, with each wave pushing the one before it forward in the same predetermined direction, can only be the vast, revered ocean. What calls an eagle to soar might be a fleeting target it seeks; but what calls all the eagles, all the great kites, to fly across the journey day after day, year after year, can only be the boundless, high-flying sky.
42. It may be a beam of candlelight that drives away a patch of darkness, but it must be the sun that illuminates the entire world to dispel its darkness. - "The Banner"
43. ● Beauty can be found in the resplendent palaces, beside the destroyed bridges, on the fragrant flowers, and in the flickering candlelight in the wind; beauty can be seen in the sublime Venus statue, as well as in the smile of an ordinary girl. Life and death are in two worlds, but beauty can shine brightly at the edge of life and death, which is the power of life—the ultimate beauty of life. (Reflections on Beauty)
44. ● When reflecting on the book, the first thing that comes to mind from the surface of the memory lake is the silhouette of brilliance at the end of history, transcending the desolation and weight of time and space, reaching the deepest, most indelible part of our memories. The feather fans and silk robes of the Three Kingdoms, the bright moon over the pass of the Warring States and the Han dynasties, the purple aura and clouds over Chang'an City, the starving bodies and wailing geese along the banks of rivers and lakes, all come to life vividly in the pages of history. If memories could be transplanted, I would prefer to experience the rise and fall of our nation and the arduous path of progress in this segment of profound memories. When the Tang and Song dynasties were in a time of peace and prosperity, and when Kublai Khan's cavalry roamed the lands of Central Asia, we could be moved to cheer and shed tears of joy in that segment of brilliant memories; when the power of the Qing Empire waned and the blades of the imperialist powers slaughtered our children of the Chinese nation, we could唤起民族的觉醒 and strive for strength, to avenge the national shame in that segment of heart-wrenching memories. It is this series of memories filled with blood and tears that gives us indomitable will and unwavering faith; we will never forget them. ("Remembering the Suffering and Glories of Our Nation - If Memories Could Be Transplanted")
45. The life depicted by Haizi, "facing the sea, warm spring, blooming flowers," is a very beautiful picture, and it is the life I yearn for.
46. I have a small cabin facing the vast sea. The sea is a deep azure blue, resembling the color of the sky. Sometimes the sky is shrouded in mist and misty clouds; at other times, it is clear and bright, exuding a fresh and natural feel, with a scene of springtime flourishing under the dome of the sky. The sun gently spreads its warmth to every corner, and I can sit on a chaise lounge in the courtyard, basking in the warm sun, brewing a pot of tea, and then savoring it slowly. After finishing one cup, I don't feel like brewing another. Jia Qieyun, the character in Cao Xueqin's novel, once said, "One cup is for savoring, and two cups become mere thirst-quenchers." When I see the tea leaves floating in the water, the small grass on the ground growing vigorously, and the flowers scattered and fluttering across the mountains and fields, a sense of tranquility that cannot be described spreads through my heart. Amidst this scenery of delicate willows like smoke and radiant beauty, do we have higher demands on life?
47. My little cabin has a bed, chairs and tables that exude a faint scent of wood, and a very, very large bookshelf that is supposed to be filled with a lot and lots of books... My little cabin also has a cat, whom I call Luoluo. My little cat is not a nine-lives cat spirit; it only has one life, so I will love it even more. I will feed it with many, many fresh little fish, give it colorful balls of yarn to play with, and let it笨笨ly chase butterflies in the grass... I will also read articles to Luoluo and share my thoughts, secrets with it. Luoluo, will you promise me not to tell my secrets to others, okay? Okay?
48. At night, as I sniff the fragrance emitted by the incense lamp, gaze at the twinkling stars outside the window, and listen to the sound of waves crashing against the rocks, I always feel very happy. Such a life makes me feel very satisfied. Many lives of literati are very painful, perhaps because they are too sensitive and sentimental. Without that sensitive heart, wouldn't they cease to be literati? Just like how I often sigh over the fleeting years, how many things seem like flowers in a mirror or the moon in the water... But deep within me, there is a path covered in sunlight and filled with the scent of flowers, where petals fall all around, creating a picturesque scene. This path leads to the realm of life I cherish.
49. Both me and Haizi wish to have our own little cottage by the seaside, but Haizi said goodbye to his little cottage too early. I would wish for those like Haizi in heaven to have happiness and success in all their endeavors, to live a simple but fulfilling life in heaven, to forget the passage of time and pain, never to feel sorrow or loneliness, and for the splendor to fade away without leaving a trace. And I will live well, for all those who love me and those I love.
