In the journey of life, we continuously refine ourselves, seeking the haven of the soul and the benevolent intent in our actions. Perceptions, self-cultivation, and acts of kindness—these three levels are akin to the three steps of a ladder in life, guiding us to ascend to a higher spiritual altitude.

1. Equality: Regardless of their beauty, ugliness, goodness, or badness, all beings equally receive the nourishment of water. Regardless of their heights, depths, or undulations, the natural environment equally benefits from the water's sustenance. Therefore, the benefits of water to all beings and the natural environment are equal.

2. The improvement of the soul requires cultivation. Live in cultivation and cultivate in life. When cultivation reaches a certain level and height, it can naturally elevate the soul to a higher level, and self-realize completeness.

5. Life is a journey of cultivation. In the process of walking, you learn humility; you learn to be magnanimous; you learn to be包容; you learn to be grateful. This is the lesson you come to this world to learn. Even though we were once very sharp and distinct, in the refining of life, we will gradually be worn down.

6. True heroes are not those who can defeat enemies, but those who can subdue烦恼. Defeating an enemy is only a temporary victory. Subduing烦恼 is the true eternal victory. Defeating an enemy actually creates more enemies, while subduing烦恼 is equivalent to completely extinguishing everything, and overcoming everything: 064.

7. It is not pitiful when you know confusion, but the most pitiful is when you do not know confusion.

8. Physical life arises from desires and follows the path of desires.

11. The most important aspect of cultivation is the cultivation of the mind. When the day comes that your inner self can become peaceful and joyful, you will understand the effortless abundance in life. The absence of desires and demands is the most powerful force in the world concerning "emptiness." Life, this journey of cultivation, may you attain enlightenment soon!

13. May we all possess the wisdom of enlightenment, free ourselves from the bondage of desires, fill our spirits with richness and vastness, and empower our souls to be strong and noble.

14. Simple living is the key to a happy life. People should be content with what they have and be generous in spirit. They must not dwell on complexities in life. If the burden on the mind becomes heavy, it will lead to complaints and worries. One should regularly delete memories, discarding unpleasant people and events from one's mind. Life is short, and wealth and status are all auxiliary. They cannot be brought at birth or taken away at death. A simple life is a joyful life.

15. One second is an entire lifetime, and to constantly maintain a single thought is the direction for a lifetime.

16. In fact, to be a person doesn't require overly complex thoughts. Just go with the flow, neither rejecting nor clinging when circumstances arise or disappear. Not being fixated on a single thought, being willing to let go, and knowing when to let go, is the way to restore tranquility in life. Letting go may bring regrets and sadness, but it will make the essence of life more enduring and profound, and make life more composed and serene. Letting go is a choice, a form of wisdom, an understanding, and also an outcome.

17. Do not dwell on a stubborn matter for too long. If you linger too long, you will become annoyed, hurt, tired, weary, heartbroken, and heartbroken. In fact, in the end, it's not the matter that you're at odds with, but yourself. No matter how stubborn, you must learn to step back. Don't let an encounter with a臭水沟 (stinky ditch) on the way to a beautiful landscape spoil your mood for appreciating beauty and waste other beautiful moments. Think about why you are here.

18. The sufferings in the world can ignite people's love; as long as there is a bit of giving, there will be a bit of touching.

19. Learning to be alone with oneself allows the soul to be purified. Solitude is also the necessary space for the growth of the soul, and only by calming down can one return to oneself. When the soul has a home, life has a path. Only by learning to be alone with oneself can the soul be clean, the mind mature, and the chest broad. Solitude is both a serene beauty and a form of cultivation. One who can be content and at ease in solitude will be indifferent and composed amidst the hustle and bustle.

Instead, they should choose to practice with a positive mindset, willing to pursue the path of awakening in life. After all, in this process, the greatest gain is filled with love and inner enlightenment.

21. Learn to control your desires, prevent them from swelling, from getting out of control, and from taking control of ourselves. Be the master of your desires, subdue them, ride them, and diminish them.

22. Happiness is not about having a lot of wealth, power, or high position, but about being free, joyful, and peaceful.

23. Do not quarrel with parents, do not fight with siblings, only wish for a harmonious family. The moral standards of being a person and the character of being human start from treating one's own family well.

24. The more one desires material things, the less one has of the spiritual. With each additional inch of enjoyment, a portion of one's spirituality is diminished.

25. Society needs love, and everyone needs love; love is the greatest happiness in life.

Appropriate desires are necessary for humans, but when they exceed the bounds, suffering and sin follow like shadows. 4. The contented are rich even though they are poor, while the discontented are poor even though they are rich. 5. Attachment is akin to confusion. 7. The difference between good and evil lies in a single thought. A wrong thought can lead to total defeat. 6. In times of peace, guard against the word "steal." In times of trouble, guard against the word "chaos."

27. A life without experiencing hardship cannot truly explore the essence of truth, nor can it fully unleash one's inherent abilities.

28. Viewing life's setbacks as education, being unafraid of difficulties, and becoming braver after each defeat, is the essence of being a warrior in life.

29. Life is intertwined with blessings and misfortunes, laughter and tears. There is no need to be overly joyful when you gain something, as you will inevitably have to give up something else; nor should you overly grieve when you lose something, as nothing can stay forever. Do not define the happiness of life by the success or failure of one's career, or the amount of income, as they are merely accessories, not necessarily connected to the essence of happiness. Only when we approach everything with a calm mind, without complaining, without jealousy, without laziness, and without indifference, can happiness find its place to rely on.

30. Throughout history, those formidable individuals who wielded the power of wind and thunder all possessed a strong spiritual life. With their intelligent minds, outstanding qualities, and strong vitality, they excelled beyond their peers, dominating their time, and becoming the leaders of their era.

31. Happiness and unhappiness are a thought away; the ability to give is happiness, while hoping to be helped is toil.

32. No matter how advanced the technology in the world becomes or how astonishing the creativity is, and no matter how great the changes in the material world are, facing death, one still cannot change the fact of impermanence, nor can one solve the problems of birth, old age, illness, and death. Mr. Jobs' passing away is a reminder and a call to everyone, awakening us from the delusion of returning to the wheel prints.

33. The three levels of life are a process of continuous improvement with the practice of cultivation.

34. The Buddha is like the sun, the good friend is like a magnifying glass, and oneself is like fuel. Without the magnifying glass focusing the sun's light, the fuel cannot burn on its own. If we wish to receive the blessings of the Buddha, without relying on the guidance of the good friend, the light of the Buddha's blessings cannot be focused on us, and we cannot burn away the fuel of ego,烦恼 (distress), and habits in the continuity of our mind, which are the sins.

35. The characteristics of spiritual life are to transcend the limitations of one's own life, to be altruistic, to love, to embrace all things, and to benefit all people.

36. When you hear others' malicious slurs, there's no need to hold them in your mind, just turn around and let them go. If you keep thinking about them continuously, it's as foolish as picking up something others have spat out and eating it yourself.

37. There have been countless benevolent masters who appeared as Buddha and bodhisattvas in the world, who embraced sentient beings with great compassion, transmitted teachings, guided, empowered, and protected them, providing various means for the path of liberation. But we still stubbornly cling to our ignorance, take suffering as joy, and hold onto the notion of 'self' as real, with our body, speech, and mind always going against the Dharma. Due to our own ego-clinging and the influence of karma, in the end, we were not saved by the Buddha and bodhisattvas, and we are still wandering in samsara, suffering in the sea of suffering. It is truly regrettable and worthy of repentance.

38. Because we do not know where we come from, we are confused about the past; because we do not know where we are going, we are lost in the future; because we do not understand how to live in the present, we do not cherish and grasp the present well. Our hearts are always in a state of recalling the past, longing for the future, and following the fleeting thoughts of the present, all of which are caused by a lack of understanding of our own hearts.

39. If we tightly cling to the fame and fortune of this life, it indicates that we are not even qualified as practitioners; if we are deeply seduced by samsara, it shows that we have not yet embarked on the path of liberation; if we cannot let go of our attachment to the self, it means that we have not yet developed the bodhicitta; if we do not completely eliminate the false view of the appearances of life and the universe, it indicates that we have not established true knowledge and correct understanding of dependent origination and emptiness in our minds.

40. Whether one has achieved the conduct of the Lesser Vehicle depends on whether there is arising of renunciation in the mind, as renunciation is the starting point of pure precepts; whether one conforms to the thought of the Mahayana depends on whether there is the presence of the bodhicitta in the mind, as the bodhicitta is the premise of the six perfections and countless practices; whether one has reached the view of the Vajrayana depends on whether one maintains a pure perception in the mind, as pure perception is the prerequisite for the generation and completion stages.

41. A bad attitude, to put it simply, is just having a narrow heart and a narrow mind. The character "attitude" broken down means having a bigger heart. A person's attitude determines their life. There is always an answer to any matter. It's better to learn to accept than to worry. Life is originally empty, and the alternation of gain and loss is life itself; the attitude towards gain and loss determines one's happiness or sadness. Embrace the coming with no resistance, and let go of the past without attachment. Only by taking a light-hearted attitude towards gain and loss can one have the leisure to savor happiness.

42. Buddhism teaches us: When we are happy and joyful, we should think that these happiness and joy are not real and eternal, just like the rainbow that appears in the sky, which is both fleeting and illusionary. Similarly, when we are in pain and worry, we should also think that these sufferings and worries are impermanent and illusionary, just like the loss of a child in a dream. Whether we are happy or suffering, we should not overly care about or be attached to them, but should regard them as like illusions and dreams, transient and without substance.

43. Those who dare to take on responsibilities will transform pressure into a mission, and their strength will be unending, allowing them to accomplish tasks with joy.

44. The things that please the Buddha and bodhisattvas are those that bring joy to all sentient beings. The "Treatise on the Stages of the Path" states: "There is nothing that pleases the Buddha and bodhisattvas more than bringing joy to sentient beings." The things that bring joy to sentient beings are not killing any living being, and not deceiving sentient beings, but to serve them to the best of one's ability. It is only then that we truly receive the blessings of the Buddha and bodhisattvas. Just as one must first make the children happy to make a mother happy.
