1. 我们曾经多么想通过自己的努力改变命运，后来发现，命运是如此强大和变幻莫测，我们根本无法和自己的命运抗衡，最好的选择就是和自己的命运和解，允许自己一事无成，心安理得的过平淡自然的日子。

1. We once so much wanted to change our destiny through our own efforts, but later found out that destiny is so powerful and changeable that we are unable to stand against it. The best choice is to reconcile with our destiny, allowing ourselves to be unremarkable, and peacefully lead a simple and natural life.

2. 世界上最弱小的东西，往往就是最强大的东西。就像水，非常柔软，谁都可以玩耍，谁都可以戏弄，谁都可以利用，但是水也能够汇聚成世界上最强大的势能，冲决一切障碍，山呼海啸，惊天动地，无所不能。

2. The weakest thing in the world is often the strongest. Like water, which is very soft, everyone can play with it, everyone can mock it, and everyone can make use of it. However, water can also gather into the most powerful potential energy in the world, breaking through all obstacles, causing mountains to shout and seas to roar, and accomplishing everything.

3. 每个人都会经历三个阶段，第一个阶段，自以为就是世界中心的时候，第二个阶段，发现自己无论如何努力都感到无能为力的时候，第三个阶段，终于接受了自己的平凡，并且享受平凡的时候。

3. Everyone goes through three stages: the first stage, when one believes oneself to be the center of the world; the second stage, when one discovers that no matter how hard one tries, one feels helpless; and the third stage, when one finally accepts one's ordinariness and enjoys it.

4. 我们要认清自己的弱小和平庸，哪怕你做出了多么辉煌的成绩，也不过只是在一个小小的领域做出了一点点贡献，其他人也在自己的领域有着优势和强项，没有必要刻意突出自己。

4. We must recognize our own weakness and mediocrity, even if you have achieved great success, it is only a little contribution made in a small field. Others also have their own advantages and strengths in their respective fields, and there is no need to deliberately highlight oneself.

5. 真正活出了最高境界的人，根本不在乎任何人对自己的任何看法。他们懂得一个道理，世界是自己的，和其他人毫无关系。别人认可不认可你，不重要，别人支持不支持你，不重要，别人喜欢不喜欢你，不重要。我们只需要默默地做自己热爱的事情，朝着既定的人生方向不懈努力，不必把自己活成任何人期待的样子。

5. A person who truly lives to the highest level doesn't care about any opinions others may have of them. They understand a principle: the world is their own, and has nothing to do with others. Whether others approve of you or not is unimportant, whether others support you or not is unimportant, whether others like you or not is unimportant. We just need to silently do what we love, tirelessly strive towards the predetermined direction of life, and don't have to live up to anyone's expectations.

7. 每个人都渴望荣华富贵，都希望自己能够建功立业，最大限度地绽放自己的生命价值，理想很丰满，现实很骨感，绝大多数人终其一生也只能够做一个普通人。

7. Everyone aspires for wealth and status, hoping to achieve great accomplishments and to maximize the value of their lives. Ideals are abundant, but reality is stark. The vast majority of people can only live out their lives as ordinary individuals.

8. 事物的最佳境界，往往在它的反面。

8. The best state of things is often found in their opposite.

9. 在这个宇宙之间生存，我们和一粒灰尘、一片树叶、一只甲壳虫、一只蚂蚁没有任何区别，生命真的特别弱小，特别平庸，一次灾难就可能让我们灰飞烟灭，一次命运的打击，就可能让我们一蹶不振，一次生活的不幸，就可能让我们万劫不复。

9. To survive among the cosmos, there is no distinction between us and a grain of dust, a leaf, a beetle, or an ant. Life is truly fragile and ordinary. A disaster could reduce us to ashes and smoke, a blow from fate could leave us completely disabled, and an不幸 in life could make us incurable.

10. 寄蜉蝣于天地，渺沧海之一粟。哀吾生之须臾，羡长江之无穷。

10. Casting a mayfly into the vastness of the heavens and the earth, and a single grain of sand in the boundless sea. I mourn the fleeting moments of my life, and envy the endless expanse of the Yangtze River.

11. 一个人最顶级的勇敢，其实就是怂。敢想敢干固然是一种勇气，而与世无争，低调内敛，做到无我的境界，才是最顶级的勇气。

11. The highest form of bravery for a person is actually being cowardly. To dare to think and act is indeed a form of courage, but to strive for no conflict with the world, to be modest and reserved, and to achieve the state of no self, is the highest form of bravery.

12. 一个人的富贵或者贫穷，成功或者失败，主要是人生际遇的不同而已，当你混得好的时候，不要看不起别人，当你混得不好的时候，也没有必要沮丧。

12. A person's wealth or poverty, success or failure, mainly boils down to different circumstances in life. When you're doing well, don't look down on others, and when you're not doing well, there's no need to be despondent.

13. 看透功名利禄的本质，不要给自己那么多的使命感和过剩的责任感。

13. See through the nature of fame and wealth, and don't burden yourself with too much sense of mission and excessive sense of responsibility.

14. 每个人都想刷存在感，都有着一种强烈的炫耀欲。在人群聚集的时候，总喜欢见缝插针抢话题，滔滔不绝展现自己的能耐，没完没了诉说自己的优势，显得与众不同，高人一等。可能暂时迷惑了别人，得到了掌声，也可能激怒了别人，给自己招致麻烦和冲突。

14. Everyone wants to make a statement and has a strong desire to show off. When people gather, they always like to seize opportunities to bring up topics, eloquently demonstrate their abilities, endlessly talk about their advantages, and appear unique and superior. They may temporarily confuse others and receive applause, or they may anger others, bringing trouble and conflict upon themselves.

15. 道德经说，反者，道之动。

15. The Tao Te Ching says, "The way of the Tao is characterized by the principle of the opposite."
