1. 我们是为了活着而活着，不是为了活着之外的任何事物而活着。

2. 四十多岁的时候，他终于获得了机会，被唐玄宗任命为翰林供奉，伺候在皇帝身边。但是，皇帝只把他当做一个吟诗作赋的文人骚客，没有把他看作治国的良材。加上李白狂放不羁的性格，得罪了朝廷中的一些权贵，他们说了很多李白的坏话，皇帝最后把他贬出朝廷。

However, the emperor only regarded him as a literati who composed poems and verses, not as a capable statesman. 4. 庄子的妻子去世了，他在院子里敲着瓦盆唱歌，惠子怒斥他，庄子回答说，天地之间，有一种无形之气，凝聚起来就变成某一种形体，我的妻子就诞生了，现在妻子死了，又回归到那一种天地的无形之中，他是回家呀，我应该为他庆祝才是，怎么能悲伤呢。

4. Zhuangzi's wife passed away, and he was敲ing a pot with tiles in the courtyard while singing.惠子 angrily rebuked him, and Zhuangzi replied, "Between heaven and earth, there is an invisible qi. When it condenses, it forms into a certain body, and my wife was born. Now that she has died, she has returned to that invisible state of heaven and earth. It's like she's going home. I should be celebrating for her, how can I be sad?

5. 一个人最顶级的愚蠢，就是用自己的健康去换取其他的身外之物，一个人最大的无知，就是为了迎合别人的态度而糟蹋自己的心情。

5. The most extreme foolishness a person can commit is to trade their health for material possessions beyond their bodies, and the greatest ignorance is to degrade one's own mood in order to cater to others' attitudes.

6. “天也空，地也空，人生渺渺在其中。 日也空，月也空，东升西坠为谁功？ 金也空，银也空，死后何曾在手中！ 妻也空，子也空，黄泉路上不相逢！ 权也空，名也空，转眼荒郊土一封！”

6. "Heaven is empty, earth is empty, life is vast in the midst of it. The sun is empty, the moon is empty, rising in the east and setting in the west, for whom does it work? Gold is empty, silver is empty, never in one's hands after death! Wife is empty, children are empty, not to meet on the path to the underworld! Power is empty, fame is empty, in a blink, a heap of soil in the wilderness!"

7. 经过这一番波折，李白看透了功名利禄，不过恍若云烟。从此，他游山玩水，漫游天下，与志同道合的人喝酒，和心性相投的人吟诗。他曾写道：

9. In the end, life is nothing but an illusion. The fame, wealth, and money we strive so hard for will eventually turn into smoke and mist. The grievances, love, and enmities we hold onto so passionately will all be erased. When the end of life comes, we will have nothing left; dust to dust, and earth to earth. 10. 人生自古谁无死。既然死亡不可以避免，我们就要有一种淡定、从容的态度看待他，不要为此而惴惴不安，惊慌失措。

11. 我们身在天地之间，非常的渺小，非常的无力，不必给自己那么大的压力和责任感，看透名利，顺其自然，心安理得地做一个普通人，也没有什么不好。

14. 不管你多牛多厉害，多了不起，最后都要回归平凡，在日常的柴米油盐之中，过知足常乐的生活。

15. 生是死的起点，死是生的终点。也可以这样说，生死是一种轮回。当你死了，又回到了出生之前的那一种状态。出生前你是什么样子，死亡之后你就是什么样。
