43. 采得百花成蜜后，为谁辛苦为谁甜。

43. After gathering all the flowers to make honey, who toils and who reaps the sweetness?

44. 其曲弥高，其和弥寡。

45. 发奋忘食，乐以忘优，不知老之将至。

48. To row against the current, one must exert oneself; a moment's relaxation lets the boat retreat a thousand lengths. The ancient saying goes that this day is precious, and we should cherish every moment even more.

49. 天下兴亡，匹夫有责。

50. If a person's character is upright, they will be followed without needing to be ordered; if their character is not upright, even if ordered, they will not be followed.

54. Read widely and select carefully; accumulate thoroughly and express sparingly.

55. Heed both sides and you will be enlightened; believe in only one side and you will be dark.

56. 烈士暮年，壮心不已。

56. The hero in his twilight years, his vigorous spirit remains unyielding.

57. 察己则可以知人，察今则可以知古。

57. By examining oneself, one can understand others; by examining the present, one can understand the past.

58. 出师未捷身先死，长使英雄泪满襟。

58. In the midst of an unwon victory, one perishes, leaving heroes' hearts heavy with tears.

59. 随风潜入夜，润物细无声。

59. Gently sneaks into the night with the wind, moistens the things silently without noise.

60. 海阔凭鱼跃，天高任鸟飞。

60. The sea is vast for fish to leap, the sky is high for birds to soar.

61. 千磨万击还坚劲，任尔东西南北风。

61. Through a thousand grindings and a million打击, it remains unyielding, whatever the east, west, south, or north wind may do.

62. 安得广厦千万间，大庇天下寒士俱欢颜。

62. If I had ten thousand houses, I would generously shelter all the destitute scholars, and they would all be joyful.

63. 捐躯赴国难，视死忽如归。

63. To sacrifice oneself for the country's plight, to view death as if returning home.
