7. At fifty years of age, the husband has not yet achieved any merit, brandishing a sword, he stands alone and gazes at the eight directions.

8. 惜分长怕君先去，直待醉时休。

8. I cherish every moment with you, fearing you might leave first, so I wait until I'm drunk before I rest.

9. 相思树底说相思，思郎恨郎郎不知。

9. Under the Sassafras tree, I talk of my longing; I love and恨 him, yet he is unaware.

10. 多情只有春庭月，犹为离人照落花。

10. The affectionate spring moon in the courtyard only illuminates the fallen flowers for the parted ones.

11. 山无陵，江水为竭，冬雷震震，夏雨雪，天地合，乃敢与君绝！

11. If the mountains should disappear and the rivers dry up, if winter brings thunderous storms and summer snows, then I dare to sever ties with you!

12. 妆罢低声问夫婿，画眉深浅入时无。

19. 取次花丛懒回顾，半缘修道半缘君。

19. I am too lazy to look back at the flower丛, half because of my devotion to the path of cultivation, and half because of you.

20. 一朝春去红颜老，花落人亡两不知。

20. Once spring is gone, beauty fades, and when flowers fall, both the flowers and the person are unaware.

21. 情多情转薄，而今真个不多情。

21. Love turns thin when there is too much of it, and now truly there is not much love.

22. 上穷碧落下黄泉，两处茫茫皆不见。

22. I have searched from the highest heavens to the deepest underworld, but in both places there is only endless emptiness and nothing is seen.

23. 君若扬路尘，妾若浊水泥，浮沈各异势，会合何时谐？

23. If you are like the dust raised from a cleared path, and I am like muddy water, we have different fates in the world's currents. When will our paths meet and harmonize?

24. 此情可待成追忆，只是当时已惘然！

25. 色不迷人人自迷，情人眼里出西施。有缘千里来相会，三笑徒然当一痴。

25. The color does not allure, but the person is entranced; the beloved's eyes see Xi Shi. With fate, a meeting from afar is possible, but three smiles are mere folly for a foolish heart.

26. 一日不思量，也攒眉千度。

26. Without thinking of you for a single day, I still frown a thousand times.

37. 十年生死两茫茫，不思量，自难忘，千里孤坟，无处话凄凉。

37. For ten years, life and death are as vast and distant, not to think of them, yet they are unforgettable. A solitary grave a thousand miles away, nowhere to express the desolation.

38. 心似双丝网，中有千千结。

38. The heart is like a double-silk net, with a thousand knots within.
