On the journey to health, we lay down fame and wealth, awaken the sleeping life, and stride towards a brand new realm of life.

1. Mr. Yang Jiang said:

2. "In this lifetime, you must take good care of yourself. Besides health, nothing else is yours. Less anger, less nitpicking, more happiness. What's the use of winning the world if you lose your health? Keep a good mood, be beautiful, smile when you are happy, and sleep when you are tired. Be carefree and naive, for that's when joy is doubled. Since you've boarded the pirate ship of life, why not be a happy pirate. Without experiencing some bad things, what is life? If anything doesn't take your life, you can restart your life anytime. Be a person who brings sunshine, optimism, and happiness."

3. According to traditional Chinese medicine: the body and mind are one. A person's health is composed of both the body and the mind, which are interrelated and complement each other. If the body is weak, the mind will not be happy. And if the mind is negative, the body will not be healthy.

8. Even if one eventually reaches a high position and holds a large sum of money, believing oneself to be a dragon among humans, feeling self-satisfied. However, in others' eyes, one is merely a power-obsessed official or a ghost of wealth, having completely lost one's personal character.

9. No matter how great the fame, wealth, and power, or how much money we accumulate, in the end, we will all turn into withered bones in the earth, carrying nothing away.

10. The German philosopher Schopenhauer said that the greatest folly of man is to trade his health for other material things beyond himself.

11. When you have good health, you may have a thousand ideas. But when you lose it, you can only have one thought, which is how to regain your health.

12. Living a healthy and happy life is more important than anything else. Why trouble oneself for the worldly fame and wealth?

13. There is a saying that is very thought-provoking and profound:

14. "Do not炫耀 your money, in a hospital it's just like paper; do not炫耀 your job, when you fall down, countless people can do better than you; do not炫耀 your house, when you are gone, it becomes someone else's nest; do not炫耀 your car, when you leave, the car keys are in someone else's hand! 19.

19. "Others laugh at me for being too crazy, I laugh at them for not seeing through. Not seeing the tombs of the heroic men of the Five Passes, there are no flowers, no wine, only the fields plowed."

20. Do not concern yourself with how others perceive or live their lives. Let go of fame and fortune, distance yourself from the hustle and bustle, focus on your physical and mental health, always maintain a positive and joyful attitude, be optimistic and open-minded, and be at ease in all things.

21. The image is from the internet.

22. The reason why men and women are attracted to each other is actually due to the push of two energies behind the scenes. Everyone is produced by the combination of two energies. If you are a man, there will be 51% of the masculine energy in you, and only 49% of the feminine energy. If you are a woman, there will be 51% of the feminine energy in you, and only 49% of the masculine energy. In each person, half of the energy is asleep. If you are a man, 49% of the feminine energy will be asleep, and for women, 49% of the masculine energy will be asleep. Therefore, everyone will seek the other 49% of energy to coordinate with them — thus love is produced.

23. At every moment, if one can maintain a highly focused mind on the present moment of life activities, with no divided attention, both physical and mental health will be promoted, and one's ideological realm and moral cultivation will be enhanced.

24. In life, happiness brings us joy, and pain brings us memories. True happiness is often difficult to recall, but pain is often hard to forget. Since pain is inevitable and we cannot resist it, why not learn to face the arrival of pain with a smile?

25. The years of splashing and pouring bring us joy sometimes, and peace at other times. The joy we feel is a transient mood, while the peace we find is our usual state of mind. Life is like that, after experiencing all kinds of storms and trials, everything eventually comes to rest in the twilight of our lives. Then we smile at ourselves, put aside our youth, and set off again. The memories we cherish, the youthful spirit we pour out, always linger in the twilight of our lives, becoming enduring memories and heartfelt contemplations.

26. In life, one must never lose the compassion in one's heart. It is essential to constantly observe this heart, making it filled with wisdom and eternity! Joy without beautiful wishes may be cruel; and without joy, beautiful wishes are prone to become indifferent. In the flowing years like water, one should help others with fearless wisdom, not seeking any return, but only desiring to contribute; not seeking to be understood, but to understand; not seeking to be loved, but to love.

27. Now it's very painful, but when you look back after a while, you'll find that none of that matters. The essence of life lies in innovation, the ideal of life lies in grandeur, and the art of life lies in choice. I always think that waiting is a beautiful state because it encompasses countless possibilities. Life should be down-to-earth, and simple happiness is enough.

28. Dislikes the hustle and bustle of繁华, prefers to be alone in quiet solitude, guarding that tranquility that belongs solely to oneself. Put on some pure light music, brew a cup of fragrant tea, write a few lines of words that one likes. Perhaps a seed left behind in a Zen garden, with a naturally sensitive and tender heart.

29. In the eyes of Buddhism, when the mind is empty of all things, the four great elements are empty as well. Although we may not reach this level, we should still constantly wipe away the杂 thoughts in our minds to prevent them from being contaminated by the mundane world.

30. Abiding outside of the illusion is called Zen, maintaining inner tranquility is called samadhi. If one is fixated on the external forms, the inner mind becomes chaotic; if one releases the attachment to the external forms, the mind remains undisturbed. The nature is inherently self-purified and self-stabilized; it becomes chaotic only when one becomes entangled in perceiving and thinking about the external conditions. If one sees all conditions without the mind being chaotic, that is true samadhi.

31. The hearts of those who recite the Buddha's name are compassionate. At all times and places, they widely connect with all sentient beings through Dharma causes and connections—when they lack power, they joyfully praise and widely connect with Dharma causes; when they have the ability, they do good deeds to the best of their abilities. When others do a good deed, this good deed benefits society and sentient beings. If we have money, we help them with our wealth; if we don't have money, we have time, so we volunteer and help them with our labor.

32. Seek not for Buddha within or outside the mind; do not seek elsewhere if there is neither mind nor Buddha. Snowflakes flutter over the flames of the red furnace, a touch of coolness to alleviate the heat and烦恼.- - From the "Records of Great Hui, the Monk of Universal Enlightenment"

33. We are the masters of ourselves; we speak with a conscience not because of social coercion, but out of care and responsibility for our own lives. — Jinghui

34. A miser will never become rich, and a giver will never be poor. (End of Song Dynasty, beginning of Yuan Dynasty) Gongka Jiancesan's "Sayings of Sakya."

35. To study the way, one must be a man of iron will, adhering to the two-character maxim: genuine action. One would rather be broken to powder or crushed to dust than forget the true intention. (Contemporary) Xia Lianju, "Record of Self-Warning"

36. Hatred is like an invisible sword, which can be thrust into the chest of the hated at any moment, while also distorting one's own soul into ugly deformities, even losing one's humanity. In fact, sometimes the cause is just a mere misunderstanding. People should forget about hatred, as it is a thing that brings a great deal of pain.

37. He must淡ize it in everyday life, making the new realm of life that he has realized very familiar (make the unfamiliar familiar), and the dark aspects covered by the past illusions must be reflected upon, exposed, and thoroughly confessed (make the familiar unfamiliar).

38. Some people who study Buddhism may appear to recite their prayers diligently, adhere to a strict vegetarian diet, and practice meditation with great effort. However, in their daily lives, they lack care and affection for their family members, fail to maintain harmonious family relationships, and show a lack of tolerance towards their fellow practitioners, failing to foster unity among them. Disagreements with family members indicate a loss of the foundation of being a human, and lack of unity with fellow practitioners signifies a loss of the essence of spiritual cultivation. Without the foundation of being a human and the essence of spiritual cultivation, what hope is there for any achievement in studying Buddhism?

39. Chan Sayings of Master Hengyu Life is always a mix of gains and losses, how can it be perfect in all aspects? Let go of a smile, and you gain friendship; let go of honesty, and you gain friends; let go of pride, and you gain ease; let go of empty fame, and you gain freedom; let go of worldly entanglements, and you gain liberation; let go of narrowmindedness, and you reap generosity. Life is about having more tolerance and understanding, which also allows us to have fewer worries and pains.

40. When it comes to criticizing others, first consider whether you are perfect yourself. When others make mistakes, we may criticize and correct them; when others take a wrong path, we often remind them; but when reminding others, don't forget to remind yourself. When criticizing and correcting others, also criticize and correct yourself. This way, we can enlighten ourselves and enlighten others.

41. The most difficult practice is not to be alone in the deep mountains, isolated from the world; nor to fall into some realm while meditating. The most difficult practice is within relationships. To harmoniously coexist in relationships, one must open one's own heart, then one can see the hearts of others; satisfy one's own heart, then one can satisfy the hearts of others.

42. Pride is an ill, arrogance is a ruin. As the saying goes: "The humble succeed with ease, while the proud fail in the end." Humility is a capital; the humble person, because they see through things clearly, is not hasty; because they think long-term, they are not impetuous; because they stand high, they are not proud; because they are upright, they are not afraid. The humble person has an open heart like a valley, capable of embracing the vastness of the rivers and streams; whereas, one who is proud and self-satisfied will find it difficult to absorb useful things. Life is finite, but the ocean of knowledge is endless. No matter how extensive a person's knowledge is, they are merely a tiny grain of sand in the vast sea. Only by maintaining a humble heart and treating the world with a humble attitude can one step by step approach the highest境界 of Zen.

43. Zen is both a spiritual rest and an ineffable wisdom. Zen opens the mind, aids in growth, and enables one to perceive the harmony of the world, the clarity of the mind, and the wholeness of life. Once you are able to let go of all attachment to concepts, and to the cycles of birth, old age, illness, and death, joy and sorrow, separation and reunion, then you can attain the true wisdom of the Buddha, and also reach the highest level of Zen.

44. The years are playing out in the deep and shallow footprints, encounters and farewells, each day unfolding in the letter L. Encounters are for leaving warmth for each other; farewells are merely to step out of seasons that do not belong to us.

45. Whether it is good thoughts or evil thoughts, right thoughts or wrong thoughts, all arising and ceasing of thoughts are due to causes and conditions, which indicates the nature of the mind is emptiness; whether we are in hell or in paradise, experiencing happiness or suffering, the mind inherently possesses all the virtues of the Buddha-nature, such as compassion, bodhicitta, and great wisdom, which means the nature of the mind is luminous.

46. A life of ordinariness is a life of simplicity, where even if life lacks great exploits, it does not receive admiration from future generations, yet it evokes a sense of the sacredness and dignity of existence. Ordinary is not simple-minded, not resigned to mediocrity, nor lacking ambition. Life itself is ordinary; as long as we exert effort, shoulder responsibility, and realize the value of our existence, ordinary people can also possess charm, and ordinary people can also be noble individuals.

47. If one solely because of being a Buddhist, unilaterally insists that Buddhism must thrive, this actually deviates from the true spirit of Buddhism's concept of non-self. Just like hoping for one's own family to dominate so as to gain the maximum benefits.

48. With a wise heart, observe that all the five aggregates are empty. Use your own heart to lead the life of the six roots. With confidence, tap into your own potential. With a kind heart, live harmoniously with others. With filial piety, restore ethical and moral values. With love, enjoy a happy life. With compassion, accomplish the cause of benefiting sentient beings. With joy, embrace all the wonders of the universe. With generosity, cultivate innumerable good connections. With purity, distance yourself from greed and desires. With tranquility, find peace in both favorable and adverse circumstances. With determination, create a perfect human world.

49. "Incompleteness" is a fact that we need to face and acknowledge, but we can also analyze it from a different perspective. In fact, defects and incompleteness are also a form of beauty. Being too smooth-sailing and too perfect may instead make us feel tired and weary, leading to a lack of appreciation.

50. It's better to do less than more, and better to have fewer thoughts than more. Every thought leads to an event, and without thoughts, there are no events. Unless it is the invocation to Amida Buddha.

51. Life requires regulation, but one cannot become a slave to regulations; because if one clings rigidly to regulations, new problems cannot be resolved. Sometimes, to achieve a certain goal, one may adopt unconventional methods, and what is important is to first change one's standards for viewing things.

52. The Zen of life comes from the perception and respect for life. It is an initial concern and understanding of life, as well as a beacon of breakthrough and awakening amidst troubles. It is an interweaving of joy and sorrow, the叠加 of hardship and happiness, living out a simple, natural, and lively journey forward. It is a long path, and also a journey of anticipation. It begins with the transformation of the quality of life.

53. When comparing prosperity and adversity, people generally prefer prosperity. Because under the same conditions, struggling towards goals in prosperity is like sailing with the wind, with favorable factors such as favorable timing, geographical advantages, and harmony among people making it easier for people to approach and achieve their goals. However, prosperity also has negative factors for one's career development. The relaxed atmosphere and favorable conditions in prosperity may lead to arrogance and vanity, self-satisfaction, and a decline in willpower. The ancient saying "to thrive in worry and to perish in comfort" is a warning against the negative effects of prosperity. Actively utilizing the favorable conditions of prosperity and avoiding its negative impact is something we should pay attention to on our journey through life.

54. Individuals with abundant talent can easily achieve their goals and quickly attain secular satisfaction on one hand; on the other hand, because their desires have no end, they are never easy to find inner fulfillment, and talent becomes the root of self-torture. -- Venerable Shengyan

55. The softness of "water" goes without saying, as anyone can imagine it. However, the phenomenon of "water droplets wearing away the stone" also proves that water's "stamina" surpasses that of the hard "stone". What is the reason that makes the originally "soft" water become so "sturdy"? This contains a great power, that is—perseverance! The relentless perseverance of water can wear through stones. In other words, if you can persistently do simple things, you can achieve a great result.

56. How many things, even if we possess them, may not truly belong to us, and might even cause us to lose too much by holding onto them. Often, we are reluctant to let go of a job that is of no benefit to us, or to let go of past events that have drifted far away, or to let go of the pursuit of power and wealth... As a result, we have to pay the price of our lives, overextending our health and youth.

57. In the garden, there was a very beautiful flower. The monk who tended the fire移植 it to a pot and placed it in the room. Unexpectedly, a few days later, the flower died. The monk: Some things are lost because we want to obtain them.

58. In a past life, I was the woman standing by the Han River, facing the wind, lightly waving my brush among the swaying reeds, humming in tune with the fragrance, silently writing a clear and pure Zen mind like water.

59. Although there are the Three Treasures and twelve divisions of the scriptures, each word is mutually inclusive and interpenetrates, yet one must grasp its essence in order to proceed with the momentum of a bamboo split through the ground.
