1. The guards demanded that King Mu of Qin execute the villagers, but King Mu replied: "The villagers did not know that it was my horse, which led them to such actions. Now that the horse is dead, it is useless to blame them. I find it rather uninteresting for them to just eat horse meat, so I will also reward them with dozens of jars of wine to ensure their enjoyment."

2. The more you want to have everything, the easier it is to lose it. And what are you willing to lose in order to get what you want?

3. As the saying goes: "When wealth is scattered, people gather; when wealth is accumulated, people scatter." If you place too much emphasis on your own interests and do not consider others' feelings, you may make others feel cold-hearted. However, if you are willing to give up some of your own interests, you can win people's hearts and lay a solid foundation for your future.

Qian Zhongshu was required to teach for only 40 minutes each week, and the total number of lectures was 12, with a fee of $160,000. 7.

7. He can only give joy to you when his heart is filled with joy; he can only give compassion to you when his heart holds infinite mercy. He can only give away his wealth when he has it; he can only give away his path when he possesses it. Some people's hearts are filled only with greed, anger, and ignorance, and what they give to others is naturally also greed, anger, and ignorance. Therefore, we advise people not to spread worries and melancholy to others, because whatever you give away, you will receive in return; this is the inevitable cause and effect.

11. "Shě dé" means to be willing to give and not to be stingy. There is gain only after giving, and to gain, one must give up. There is gain when there is giving, and there is no gain without giving up. The more one gives, the more one gains; the less one gives, the less one gains. "Shě dé" is a form of life wisdom and attitude. However, people are always afraid of both gain and loss. They fear loss before gaining, and they fear loss after gaining. The wise approach is to learn to let go. In fact, one must lose something to gain something; only by learning to let go can one possibly reach the peak of life.
