2. 《道德经》说:“物无美恶,过则为灾。”

2. The Tao Te Ching says: "Things are not inherently good or bad; excess is what brings disaster."

3. 基因无法改变,但另外75%都可以由自己掌握。

3. Genes cannot be changed, but the other 75% can be controlled by oneself.

4. 《道德经》说,缤纷的色彩使人眼花缭乱;嘈杂的音声使人听觉失灵;浓厚的杂味使人味觉受伤;纵情猎掠使人心思放荡发狂;稀有的物品使人行于不轨。因此,圣人致力于解决温饱,不耽乐于感官的享乐,所以要有所取舍。

4. The Tao Te Ching says, "Vivid colors can dazzle the eyes; loud noises can impair the ears; strong flavors can injure the taste buds; unrestrained pursuit can make the mind wild and dissipated; rare objects can lead people to deviate from the path. Therefore, the sage dedicates himself to addressing the needs of food and clothing, does not indulge in the pleasures of the senses, and thus must make choices and judgments."

19. 凡事“不逾矩”,有节制,讲规矩,有底线,适可而止,防止过度,如此,才能滋养生命,而不是伤害自己。

22. 你要学会权衡利弊,学会放弃一些什么,然后才可能得到些什么。你要学会接受命运的残缺和悲哀,然后,心平气和。因为,这就是人生。”

22. You need to learn to weigh the pros and cons, to learn to give up certain things, and only then may you gain something. You need to learn to accept the imperfections and sorrows of fate, and then, be at peace with your heart. Because, that is life."
