On the journey towards adaptation, capability leapfrogging, and higher realms, we continuously explore and forge ahead.
1. The fourth level, beliefs and values: When we reach the fourth level, it often allows us to see a higher world. You will find that people at this level have already started to think about what their inner beliefs are.
2. In summary, the principle of moderation is an important concept in philosophy. However, not everything can exceed the degree at any time. Philosophy explores the essence of human existence and reason, involving the understanding of truth, values, and meaning. Therefore, it is necessary to analyze specific situations individually and reasonably grasp the principle of measurement in things in practice.
3. A good vision often originates from the depth of our inner life experiences, and even more so from our continuous pursuit and transcendence of an ideal life. In this process, we influence our lives, and on the other hand, we are also constructing our own ideal world. These two aspects complement each other.
4. In philosophy, the issue of excess and moderation is an important one, but not everything can be said to be beyond the point of moderation at all times.
5. What truly determines a person's level is often what is unseen, influencing our ways of behavior and how we make choices.
6. In fact, the true and lasting happiness in a person's life comes from accepting life with ease, from having a mind free of distractions, from going with the flow, from having no excessive desires, just like a tranquil little river, without any tumultuous waves, just quietly flowing, without grandeur, but with high skies and light clouds, not as many fierce storms, but with sunny and windless days.
7. In the forest, they held a contest called "The Big Contest." The old ox stepped onto the stage, and the animals shouted, "Big." Then, an elephant came on stage to perform, and the animals echoed, "Big." At this moment, a frog below the stage couldn't stand it any longer and hopped onto the stage, striving to puff up its belly and staring confidently at the animals, "Am I big?"
8. In order to elevate the levels of our lives, to go further, and to have more abundant momentum, we need to start from these levels, continuously improve our own perspectives, so that you can find a place of your own and embrace a larger world.
9. Truly formidable individuals often understand the importance of self-cultivation in life, and they also make us realize that people are fundamentally different from one another, which also depends on our own planning and positioning of ourselves.
10. These six levels interact and shape each other. If we want to resolve our life's confusion, we must first clarify which level we are currently at. Then, by upgrading our thinking system from a higher level, we can break through the difficulties.
11. At the first level, the environmental level: People at this level tend to attribute problems to external causes. For example, they may believe that they are not doing well because of their poor background, or they may think that others have not recognized their talents.
12. However, if a person pursues overly ambitious goals, sets an excessively high target, and does not possess the corresponding abilities and strength, two situations may arise. One is that due to not reaching the predetermined goals and the desired height, one may become emotionally low, lack vitality, feel despondent, and even become decadent and discouraged, unable to recover. The other is to force oneself to do what is not possible, struggle beyond one's limits, bear an unbearable burden, and eventually collapse physically, ending up with nothing gained in terms of people or things, paying a heavy price. The lesson of the frog should be firmly remembered.
13. The little heart cannot bear too much sadness and burden, so choose to give up and forget. Abandon unnecessary desires and expectations, and perhaps life may be better.
14. Happiness has no evaluation criteria; it is not only the wealthy who possess happiness. Each person has their own life. With money, make your days better; without money, make your mood better. In this world, we only come once. After a century, there will be no you or me. We strive throughout our lives, but we can't take away a single brick or stone. We are passionate throughout our lives, but we can't take away even a trace of love, hate, or emotional entanglements. Life is short, so eat the food you want, see the people you want to see, enjoy the scenery you like, do the things you enjoy. Life is essentially a subtraction process, and the future is not long. With money, make your days better; without money, make your mood better. Time comes and goes, and we will eventually let go. Living a healthy life, living in peace, smiling happily, and being busy appropriately is already good enough.
15. Each of us needs to step out of our existing social circles to ponder whether such a life is reasonable. Only by stepping out can we see the myriad possibilities of the world and understand more clearly that life itself is essentially diverse and colorful, rather than unchanging.
16. Instead, they simply attribute their poor performance to not having worked hard enough. Therefore, they hope to change their lives and destiny through sufficient effort, although this may have some effect, it is impossible to alter the self's life destiny.
17. One who has never been imbued with the refinements of life and ideals cannot possess lofty heights; and one who has never been respected cannot comprehend the importance of civilization.
18. The vision is akin to the lighthouse of our growth; we must find our own inner vision as early as possible, which is our ultimate mission.
19. A mountaineer once participated in an expedition to climb Mount Everest. When he exerted himself to reach an altitude of 6,400 meters, due to exhaustion, he had to stop. Many friends, upon learning of this, felt sorry for him. Many said that if he could have clenched his teeth and endured a little longer, if he could have climbed just a bit more, he would have reached the summit.
20. However, some philosophers also proposed the concepts of excess and deficiency. For example, Plato believed that the highest level of human reason is to transcend both the senses and reason, but this transcendence must be moderate. He pointed out that the excessive pursuit of both reason and the senses would lead to humans' inability to truly recognize truth. Similarly, Aristotle also emphasized the importance of the principle of moderation. He believed that the establishment of human behavior and social systems must follow the principle of moderation to achieve harmonious development of both individuals and society.
21. Maintain moderation, do what you can do, and it is not a life of confusion, idleness, and squandering time; instead, it is an accurate positioning in life, a valuable down-to-earth approach, the only path to success, and a serious and responsible attitude towards one's career.
22. Visions come from our inner structure and perspective, which cannot be separated from our own insights and the sedimentation and cognition of this world.
23. What has never widened the gap between people is their origin. In life, you see that some people from poor backgrounds also achieve a very high level.
24. It is the same when we are at a low point in life. If we are accustomed to complaining, we cannot see new possibilities. However, by starting from the perspective of improving ourselves, we can clearly outline our path of personal growth.
25. Anyone, regardless of what they do, has their limits, their capacity for endurance, and the highest level they can achieve. Just like that mountain climber, 6,400 meters is his limit, his capacity for endurance, and his highest altitude.
26. Set bigger goals, aim higher, and fully tap into the potential factors of individuals, then their drive for progress will be more vigorous, and the value of life will be more fully manifested.
27. Life is not life if everything goes as you wish; it's not life if everyone achieves perfection. Take your time, don't be too anxious. The past will eventually pass, and what is destined to come will eventually arrive. Believe that every arrangement in the world has its own logic. The lamps will light up one by one, the road will become increasingly smooth, and the flowers in your hands will bloom one by one. Don't be in a hurry; the good fortune of life is coming slowly. Just take good care of yourself.
28. The frog was不服气 and was striving hard to puff up its belly. With a loud bang, the belly burst. Poor frog, it never understood its actual size until its dying day.
29. This world is too complex, sometimes it's true, sometimes false, and sometimes illusionary, making it difficult to truly see through its essence and thus hard to make choices. The people around you are also of various kinds, and their different evaluations and actions will inevitably influence you. Most importantly: Can you calm down to think and accept everything in life with an unselfish heart? Naturally, you will be able to feel endless joy from life.
30. Firstly, philosophy deals with the essence of human existence and reason, which involves the understanding of truth, values, and meaning. In philosophy, many concepts and ideas have their appropriate scope, and going beyond this scope can lead to problems. For example, the pursuit of truth is an important aspect of philosophy, but an excessive pursuit of truth can lead to nihilism, which is the belief that humans cannot truly understand the world, and thus放弃 the pursuit of meaning and value.
31. The vast majority of people remain at the first five levels, while the sixth level often requires a lot of life experience and sufficient cultivation to gradually attain this state.
32. These six levels tell us that what truly determines how far we can go is not ability, but the highest level, vision.
33. Reflecting on our identity often determines the kind of person we ultimately become. When a person's level of thinking reaches the identity level, they often see the essential differences between people, and more importantly, they come to understand that the differences between people come more from self-shaping.
34. Maintain moderation, do what you can do, as long as you give it your all, exhaust your abilities, and make your utmost effort, it doesn't matter what goals you achieve or what heights you reach, as long as you can ask yourself without guilt.
