In seeking the mysteries of career and life, we embrace the balance of reality, far away from the hustle and bustle and the distant dreams.

1. Zhuangzi said, "May I ask you, two gentlemen, a question? Which would the turtle in the water prefer: to be placed inside an expensive box and worshipped in the grand temple, or to drag its tail and crawl in the mud?"

2. Eat as much as your appetite allows and do as much as your abilities permit. Don't put unnecessary pressure on yourself. What's the harm in not accomplishing anything? What's the harm in growing old alone? Enjoy the mundane realities of life, and give up the poetry and the fields of the distant horizon.

3. "The grass withers, but it will sprout again next year; the flowers fade, but they will bloom again next spring. However, humans have only one life, and once it's gone, there's no coming back; it cannot be replayed.

4. In Zhuangzi's eyes, fame, wealth, and status are no more than an expensive cage, which, although looking shiny and splendid,剥夺了人的自由和本性. We don't aspire to climb up; perhaps we will live a very ordinary, very plain, and very uneventful life, remaining默默无闻, nameless, and not eye-catching at all. However, we are very real, very free, and very beautiful.

5. Zhuangzi was fishing by the river when two envoys sent by the King of Chu found him and invited him to serve as the Prime Minister of Chu.

6. There is a saying that wakes one up:

7. The messenger said, of course, the latter is the choice.

8. Life belongs only to the inner feelings of each person, not to the opinions of others. Let go of the attachment to fame and fortune, be an ordinary person, not noticed by anyone, and not disturbed by anyone.

9. Life is not composed of the past or the future, but of every moment in the present. There is no need to linger on what has already happened or to be relentless about it, as it only confines you within a limited space. There is also no need to worry prematurely about what has not yet occurred, for life itself is about dealing with each challenge as it comes. Do what needs to be done in the present, keep your body fit, take care of your mood, do not let down the present version of yourself, please yourself, nourish yourself, fulfill yourself, and navigate through life.

10. Hold the cool breeze and wait for the bright moon, raise your eyebrows over the smoke and fireworks for a lifetime. Be content and happy, be at ease with what comes your way, the clouds are light and the wind is gentle, comfortable and carefree!

11. Living a life is not easy; one has to taste the flavors of sweet, sour, bitter, and spicy, to face the pain of birth, old age, illness, and death. One must strive for happiness while resisting sadness, always feeling exhausted both physically and mentally, yet still having to grind through with determination.

12. As ordinary people, without resources, background, conditions, connections, relationships, talent, or connections, we can only barely make a living with all our efforts, and even then, we may not achieve fame and success. It's better to learn to be practical and lead a contented life with joy in the ordinary days.

13. Zhuangzi said, "My choices are as arbitrary as those of the tortoise; please relay this reply to the King of Chu."

14. The majority of people go through three stages in life. The first stage is when one believes they are the center of the world. The second stage is when one discovers, no matter how hard they try, they feel powerless. The third stage is when one accepts their own ordinariness and enjoys it.

15. Humans cannot control the laws of nature; all we can do is change our own mood. Life is fraught with numerous challenges, and no one can predict what will happen in the next second. What we can do, besides cherishing the present, is to do our best!"

16. Everyone has dreamed of a life adorned with splendor and luxurious living, but after a lifetime of hustle and bustle, we find that the best state of being is the fulfillment of daily life with necessities like rice, oil, salt, and the warmth of a cozy lamp. If our abilities can only make us ordinary people, then there's no need to have grand ambitions or aspire for the unattainable. It's better to enjoy the mundane realities and let go of the allure of poetry and distant fields.
