24. Life is like a play, and we gather together because of fate. It's not easy to support each other until old age, so we should cherish it even more. 27. 忍耐好,忍耐是奇宝。一朝之念不能忍,斗胜争强祸不小。忍气不下心病生,终生将你苦缠绕,让人一步有何妨,量大福大无烦恼。
27. Patience is a great treasure. If one cannot endure a moment's thought, it can bring great troubles in the struggle for victory and strength. Holding in one's anger gives rise to heart disease, which will torment you throughout your life, causing endless suffering. Why not let others take a step? Having a large heart brings great fortune and no worries.
28. 心观念处:以「心」为所缘而禅修,并且如实见到心只是心,不是实有、不是实体、也不是自我,它既非我亦非它。
28. Meditation on the mind: Meditate on the mind as the object and see it as it truly is – that the mind is just the mind, not an inherent reality, not a substance, nor the self. It is neither me nor another.
29. 谎言像一朵盛开的鲜花,外表美丽,生命短暂。
29. Lies are like a blooming flower, beautiful on the outside but fleeting in life.
30. 你目前拥有的,都将随着你的死亡而成为他人的。那为何不现在就布施给真正需要的人呢
30. What you currently possess will all become someone else's after your death. So why not give it away now to those who truly need it?
31. 佛陀教导我们:「行善就是善,做恶就是恶。」

32. 心好命也好,富贵直到老。命好心不好,福转为祸兆。心好命不好,祸转为福报。
32. With a good heart and a good fate, wealth and honor will last until old age. With a good fate but a bad heart, blessings may turn into omens of misfortune. With a good heart but a bad fate, misfortunes may turn into rewards of fortune.
33. 看见自己的动作、言语及起心动念(即身、口、意的行为动作)就叫做『见我』。

36. Living each day is a blessing, and it should be cherished. When I cry because I don't have shoes to wear, I realize that some people don't even have feet.
37. 人可以打你、伤害你而鬼不能,如果他们真的这么有本事,他们应该就能为自己盖房子和找食物了,但是他们不能,相反的,是人们为鬼神建神龛,并且还给他们食物吃,是人们在守护鬼神。
37. People can beat you and harm you, but ghosts cannot. If they were truly capable, they should be able to build their own houses and find their own food. However, they cannot. On the contrary, it is people who build shrines for the gods and spirits, and also provide them with food. It is people who protect the gods and spirits.
38. 一个人即使拥有佛陀的法衣或指舍利,也不能说是见法及见佛,这是一个必须善加理解的道理。
38. Even if one possesses the robes of the Buddha or a relic of the Buddha's finger, it does not mean they have seen the Dharma or the Buddha. This is a principle that must be well understood.
39. 五官刺激,不是真正的享受。内在安祥,才是下手之处。
39. Stimulation of the five senses is not true enjoyment. Inner peace is where one should start.
40. 尊的圣弟子们是诚正的行道者,也就是老实修行不妄语、不未证言证、不自欺欺人不欺瞒自己、朋友或父母,并依着自己的责任和工作诚正地修行。

Honorable disciples of the Holy Ones are sincere practitioners of the path, which means they practice sincerely without lying, without speaking about things they have not experienced, without deceiving themselves, and without deceiving others, including friends or parents, and they practice sincerely according to their responsibilities and work.
41. 忍别人所不能忍的痛,吃别人所别人所不能吃的苦,是为了收获得不到的收获。
41. Enduring pain that others cannot bear and suffering hardships that others cannot endure is for the sake of reaping rewards that others cannot obtain.
42. 须交有道之人,莫结无义之友。饮清静之茶,莫贪花色之酒。开方便之门,闲是非之口。
42. Associate with virtuous individuals, do not make friends with those without righteousness. Drink tranquil tea, do not indulge in colorful wine. Open the door to convenience, keep silent about trivial matters.
43. 心命具不好,遭殃且贫夭。心可挽乎命,最要存人道。命实造于心,祸福为人招,信命不修心,阴阳恐虚矫。修心亦听命,天地自相保。
43. If the heart and fate are not good, misfortune and poverty will come, and early death may occur. The heart can influence fate, but the most important thing is to maintain humaneness. Fate is actually shaped by the heart, and misfortune or fortune is brought by humans. If one believes in fate but does not cultivate the heart, one may fear being delusional or exaggerated. Cultivating the heart while respecting the will of fate, the heavens and earth will naturally protect each other.

50. The flowers offered to the Buddha symbolize smiles and happiness, because the fragrance of the flowers represents not being angry or having a long face. This means our faces will be as beautiful as the flowers.
51. 我们始终都在练习微笑,终于变成不敢哭的人。
51. We have always been practicing to smile, and finally became a person who dare not cry.
52. 不求佛。不求法。不求僧。乃至不求福智知解等。垢净情尽。亦不守此无求为是。亦不住尽处。亦不忻天堂畏地狱。缚脱无碍。即身心及一切处皆名解脱。
52. Not seeking the Buddha, not seeking the Dharma, not seeking the Sangha. Not even seeking blessings, wisdom, knowledge, and understanding. The impurities are cleansed, emotions are exhausted. Yet, one does not cling to this state of non-seeking as being the ultimate. Neither does one dwell at the point of completion. Neither does one yearn for the heavenly realm or fear the hells. Being unbound and unobstructed, both the body and mind, and all places, are known as liberation.
53. 人生不过是一个行走的影子,一个在舞台上高谈阔步的可怜演员,无声无息地悄然退下;
53. Life is but a walking shadow, a可怜 actor striding confidently on a stage, fading away silently and unnoticed.
54. 夫学道人。若遇种种苦乐称意不称意事。心无退屈。不念一切名闻利养衣食。不贪一切功德利益。不为世间诸法之所滞碍。无亲无爱。苦乐平怀。粗衣遮寒。粝食活命。兀兀如愚。如聋如哑相似。稍有相应分。若于心中。广学知解。求福求智。皆是生死。于理为益。
54. The one who cultivates the path. If they encounter various pleasant and unpleasant things, they do not succumb to the heart's desires or aversions. They do not harbor thoughts of fame, fortune, comfort, clothing, and food. They do not covet any virtues or benefits. They are not hindered by the myriad phenomena of the world. They have no affection for anything or anyone. They maintain an even mind towards joy and sorrow. They wear coarse clothes to keep warm and eat coarse food to sustain life. They are simple and unpretentious, resembling one who is deaf and mute. Even a little bit of corresponding understanding within them. If they expand their knowledge and understanding within their hearts, seeking blessings and wisdom, it is all part of the cycle of birth and death. From a logical standpoint, it is beneficial.

56. 顺天意慷慨激昂,一卷狂草令八方。仗天威岂惧众怒?纵云霄泣血千行。但叹人唯知己利,驭酒几觞入愁肠。砺剑时一梦黄梁,弃残局为谁已忘。提剑湛颅冲阵去,虽是恨铁不成钢。独愁酒在杯中荡,饮冰十年血难凉。
56. In accordance with the will of heaven, he is generous and passionate, a scroll of wild cursive writing reaches all eight directions. Relying on the heavenly might, does he fear the wrath of the crowd? Even the clouds in the sky weep blood in thousands of lines. But sighing, people only seek their own interests, drinking wine in several cups fills the sorrow in the intestines. At the time of honing the sword, a dream of the Yellow Spring is a dream, and the remnants of the game are forgotten for whom. brandishing the sword, charging into the ranks, though it is a regret that iron is not steel. Alone, the sorrow is in the cup, drinking ice for ten years, the blood is not cool.
57. 法观念处:以法为所缘而禅修,并且如实见到这些法只是法,不是实有、不是实体、也不是自我,它们既非我亦非它。
57. The Law Concept Department: Meditate with the law as the object and see these laws as they truly are—mere laws, not reality, not substance, nor self. They are neither me nor other.
58. 欲知过去世,今生受者是。欲知来世果,今生做者是。
58. To know the past life, one should look at the sufferer in this life. To know the results of the next life, one should look at the doer in this life.
59. 贪瞋痴的念头就是「苦」!因而佛陀只教导「苦」的生起、「苦」的原因及「苦」的止灭。
59. The thoughts of greed, anger, and delusion are the very essence of suffering! Therefore, the Buddha only teaches the arising, the causes, and the cessation of suffering.
60. 爱,从来就是一件千回百转的事。不曾被离弃,不曾受伤害,怎懂得爱人?

61. 不能断除苦因的人就跟怕死的凡夫没两样,反之,如果有人能够灭苦,佛陀说这样的人就可称之为超越世间的人(即出世间圣者)。

75. The teachings of the Buddha and the virtues of the Buddha's Arhat disciples, who are the inspirations and the achievements and goals that we laypeople pursue, may you all be able to personally experience a pure, bright, and tranquil mind in this very life.
76. 如果我们真的看重佛陀的教导,哪怕我们只有一小撮人,我们必定可以让这世间向上提升,因为这一小撮人他们能够从自己内在心中来领悟正法。
76. If we truly value the teachings of the Buddha, even if we are only a small group, we are surely able to elevate this world because this small group of people can understand the Dharma from their inner hearts.
77. 所谓的「超越世间」不是指升到天空、天堂或类似那样的地方,而是指超越情绪感受、超越一切诸苦。
77. The so-called "transcending the world" does not refer to ascending to the sky, heaven, or similar places, but rather to transcending emotional feelings and transcending all kinds of suffering.
78. 森林里的叶子就是指做功德、布施、持戒和练习止禅,而手中的叶子就是指观禅(内观禅修)。
78. The leaves in the forest refer to doing meritorious deeds, giving alms, observing precepts, and practicing mindfulness meditation, while the leaves in one's hand refer to Vipassana meditation (insight meditation).
