In November of that year, the Mu Xin Art Museum, which took four years to complete, was opened. It was designed and supervised by Okamoto Hiroyuki and Lin Bing, disciples of Bei Yueming, from the OLI office in New York. The Cultural Wuzhen Co., Ltd. funded the project, while the Guojia Construction Group Co., Ltd. was responsible for the construction. The design and layout of the museum were led by OLI designer Fabian, which lasted for one and a half years. The entire building faces south with a long, modern minimalist style, crossing over the Yuantao Lake in Wuzhen and accompanied by its reflection in the water, becoming a tranquil and elegant landmark along Wuzhen's West Embankment.
