2. To deal with hypocrites, it's not about scolding them or exposing them; instead, let them continue to suffer in their own hypocrisy and then act as if you know nothing. Gradually, many people will come to you proactively to tell you how hypocritical they are.

3. 伤人之语，如水覆地，难以挽回。

3. Words that wound others are like water spilled on the ground, difficult to recover.

4. 气是无明火，忍是敌灾星，但留方寸地，把于子孙耕。

8. Don't easily show your melancholy to others, even if you are truly melancholic. Others may not understand your melancholy, and they also don't have the obligation or responsibility to do so. In this case, what you think of as an outlet for venting becomes self-degradation and deepens your pain.

9. 不大可能的事也许今天实现，根本不可能的事也许明天会实现。

9. What seems unlikely may come true today, and what seems impossible may happen tomorrow.

10. 再长的路，一步步也能走完，再短的路，不迈开双脚也无法到达。

10. No matter how long the road is, it can be traversed step by step; no matter how short the road, it cannot be reached without taking a step forward.

14. Countless inventions start with a question. If animals are not as good as humans, it's because they don't know how to ask. The wise ask cleverly, while the foolish ask foolishly. Human effort can overcome divine craftsmanship, and it all lies in asking about every matter.

15. 读书好问，一问不得，不妨再问。

15. It is good to ask questions while reading; if you don't get an answer, it's fine to ask again.

16. 不经一翻彻骨寒，怎得梅花扑鼻香。

19. I thought I had a strong will, enduring everything, including loneliness and sadness, but I forgot that I was just an ordinary person, overestimating myself, holding on to a promise, and feigning strength.

20. 生病的时候，自己要重视自己，不能等着哪个谁来重视你。等到那时候，你会发现自己不管是身体还是心灵都已经很难受了。

20. When you are sick, you should take care of yourself and not wait for someone else to pay attention to you. By then, you will find that both your body and mind are already in great discomfort.

21. 不怕事多，只怕多事。

22. 忍耐的实质就是，你要赚便宜你就赚，你想不要脸你就不要脸，随便。我能施舍给你的，我给；我给不了的，你找别人要去。至于别人给不给，那是你们的事了。

22. The essence of patience is that if you want to get a bargain, go ahead and do so; if you want to act shamelessly, go ahead and act shamelessly, it's up to you. What I can give you, I will give; what I cannot give you, you can seek from others. As for whether others will give or not, that is your own business.

23. 恶是犁头，善是泥，善人常被恶人欺，铁打犁头年年坏，未见田中换烂泥。

23. Evil is the plow, and goodness is the clay; the good are often deceived by the wicked. The iron plow breaks down year after year, but the muddy field has not been changed.

24. 世间有为法，如梦幻泡影，如露亦如电，应作如是观。

24. All things in the world are transient, like dreams, illusions, bubbles, and shadows; like dew and lightning. They should be regarded in this manner.

25. 能帮助别人的，尽量帮忙。不能帮的，别勉强自己。

25. Try to help others as much as possible. Don't force yourself if you can't help.

26. 君子忍人之所不能忍，容人之所不能容，处人之所不能处。

26. A gentleman endures what others cannot bear, tolerates what others cannot tolerate, and behaves where others cannot behave.

27. 要是你无法避免，那你的职责就是忍受。如果你命运里注定需要忍受，那么说自己不能忍受就是犯傻。

27. If you cannot avoid it, your duty is to endure. If it is in your destiny to endure, then to say that you cannot endure is foolishness.

28. 当狂风在你耳边呼啸时，你只当它微风拂面；当暴雨在你眼前倾泻时，你只当它屋檐滴水；当闪电在你头顶肆虐时，你只当它萤火流逝。人，决不能在逆境面前屈服。

When the roaring gales howl in your ears, treat them as a gentle breeze on your face; when the torrential rain falls before your eyes, regard it as the dripping eaves of your house; when the lightning rages above your head, consider it as the fleeting glow of fireflies. Humanity must never yield to adversity.

29. 时时好心，就是时时好日。

30. 好问的人，只做了五分种的愚人；耻于发问的人，终身为愚人。

30. The inquisitive person is only a fool for five minutes; the person who is ashamed to ask questions is a fool for life.

31. 心命具不好，遭殃且贫夭。心可挽乎命，最要存人道。命实造于心，祸福为人招，信命不修心，阴阳恐虚矫。修心亦听命，天地自相保。

31. If one's heart and destiny are not good, they will suffer misfortunes and live a short life. One can change their destiny by cultivating the heart, but the most important is to uphold humaneness. Destiny is actually shaped by the heart, and misfortune or fortune is attracted by humans. If one believes in destiny but does not cultivate the heart, there is a fear of being superficial and insincere. Cultivating the heart and heeding one's destiny, the heavens and earth will naturally protect you.

32. 不要去抢属于别人的利益，但也不能纵容别人抢自己的。这是原则。

32. Do not seize what belongs to others, but also do not tolerate others seizing what is yours. This is a principle.

33. 嘲讽是一种力量，消极的力量。赞扬也是一种力量，但却是积极的力量。

33. Satire is a power, a negative power. Praise is also a power, but it is a positive power.

34. 节欲戒怒，是保身法，收敛安静，是治家法，随便自然，是省事法，行善修心是出世法。守此四法，结局通达。

Abstinence from indulgence and anger is a method for preserving one's health; being reserved and tranquil is a method for managing the household; being spontaneous and natural is a method for saving trouble; and doing good and cultivating the mind is a method for transcending the world. Adhering to these four methods will lead to a successful outcome.

35. 锲而不舍，金石可镂。

35. Perseverance pays off, even hard stone can be carved through.

36. 忍耐之草是苦的，但最终会结出甘甜而柔软的果实。

36. The grass of patience is bitter, but it will ultimately bear sweet and soft fruit.

37. 除了父母，没有什么人是不求回报的。恋人对你好是以爱情和谐为前提的，朋友对你好是以共同利益和消除寂寞为前提的。另外的人，就更不用说了。

37. Apart from parents, no one is unselfish. A lover's kindness towards you is based on the harmony of love, a friend's kindness towards you is based on common interests and the elimination of loneliness. To speak of others is even more so.

38. 别人和你说的话，不管出于什么初衷，能信但不能全信。但是，别人说的时候，尽量认真听，仔细回应，这是对人的尊重。

38. No matter what good intentions others may have when they speak to you, you can believe them but not believe them completely. However, when others are speaking, try to listen attentively and respond carefully, as this is a sign of respect for people.

39. 我们不会把常识僵化并使它变成信条。

40. 不要问别人为你做了什么，而要问你为别人做了什么。

40. Do not ask what others have done for you, but ask what you have done for others.

41. 才气就是长期的坚持不懈。

42. 圣人求心，不求佛；愚人求佛不求心。

42. The sage seeks the mind, not the Buddha; the fool seeks the Buddha, not the mind.

43. 人，就像钉子一样，一旦失去了方向，开始向阻力屈身，那么就失去了他们存在的价值。

43. Like a nail, once a person loses its direction and begins to bow to resistance, it loses the value of its existence.

44. 独自异地求学，要学着多和父母联系沟通，要学着多听长辈的话。要学着忍耐，没有什么是你忍不了的，别人再错，也犯不着拿别人的错误惩罚自己。

44. Studying in a distant place alone, you should learn to communicate and keep in touch with your parents more often, and you should learn to listen to the words of the elder generation. You should learn to be patient, as there is nothing that you cannot endure. No matter how wrong others are, it is not worth taking revenge on yourself for their mistakes.

45. 忍耐好，忍耐是奇宝。一朝之念不能忍，斗胜争强祸不小。忍气不下心病生，终生将你苦缠绕，让人一步有何妨，量大福大无烦恼。

45. Patience is a great treasure. If one cannot endure a moment's thought, the trouble it brings can be immense. Holding in anger can lead to heartache, and for a lifetime it will torment you. What harm is there in giving others a step? Having a large heart brings great fortune and no worries.

46. 我们活在世上不是为自己而向生活索取什么，而是试图使别人生活得更幸福。

46. We live in the world not to demand something from life for ourselves, but to try to make others' lives happier.

47. 忍耐可以避免纠纷，使社会变得更加和睦。

47. Patience can avoid disputes and make society more harmonious.

48. 锲而舍之，朽木不折；锲而不舍，金石可镂。

48. If one chisels and gives up, even rotten wood cannot be broken; if one chisels without giving up, even gold and jade can be carved.

49. 若真修道人，不见世间过。

63. The greatest thing in life is to continue serving the people with everything you have created even after you have ceased to exist.

64. 知因果即知进退。知佛法，即得开心果。

64. Knowing the cause and effect is knowing when to advance and retreat. Knowing the Dharma (Buddhist teachings) brings joy.

65. 成功不是将来才有的，而是从决定去做的那一刻起，持续累积而成。

65. Success is not something that will be achieved in the future; it is accumulated continuously from the moment one decides to act.

66. 永远没有一个人是你离不开的，现在离不开的，不代表永远离不开。没有什么是你放弃不了的，你不放弃的可能会先放弃你也说不定。

66. No one is indispensable to you forever, nor is anyone you can't live without now necessarily someone you will never be able to live without. There is nothing you can't give up, and what you don't give up might be something that ends up giving up on you first.

67. 忍一时，风平浪静，退一步，海阔天空。

67. Bide your time, and the sea will be as calm as wind; take a step back, and the sky will seem boundless.

68. 一个人生活虽然很难，但也必须学会一个人，不要轻易依赖别人。这是为了防止你身边的人都离开的时候，你还可以好好活下去。

68. Even though it's hard to live alone, one must learn to do so and not rely on others easily. This is to ensure that when everyone around you leaves, you can still live well.

69. 君子之学必好问，问与学，相辅而行者也。非学，无以致疑；非问，无以广识。

69. The study of a gentleman must be accompanied by a love of inquiry; inquiry and study are complementary to each other. Without study, one cannot arrive at doubts; without inquiry, one cannot broaden one's knowledge.
