11. I am a ghost. I fled in panic through the city of woe. I soared away through the eternal bitterness.

12. 盲目的贪欲煽动者人们，到后来却永远使人们受着酷刑。

12. The blind greedy instigators, in the end, forever make people suffer from severe tortures.

13. 受造恒久永罚永夜。跨入此门的人，当放弃一切希望！

13. The created shall be eternally punished in perpetual night. Those who step through this gate shall abandon all hope!

14. 隔河而笑，相去三步，如阻沧海。

14. Laughter across the river, yet three steps apart, feels like a barrier as vast as the sea.

15. 听说：一个灵魂，在生命的尽头才知道忏悔，应当逗留在山门外，不许升到这里，直到时间流过和他的生命相等，除非有慈悲的祈祷来帮助他。假使着种话是真的，那么这个灵魂怎样会立即到这里来？

15. It is said that a soul, which only repents at the end of its life, should stay outside the mountain gate and not be allowed to ascend here until the passage of time equals its lifespan, unless aided by compassionate prayers. If such a thing is true, then how could this soul come here immediately?

23. In the midst of life, I find that I have lost my way and entered into a dark forest. Alas! It is a difficult task to describe how wild, perilous, and treacherous this forest is. Just thinking about it fills me with fear again. Its bitterness is almost as great as death.

24. Do you know how many philosophers throughout history have had their desires remain unfulfilled? Their curiosity not only failed to satisfy them but instead led to eternal melancholy.

You should stand firm in your beliefs like a towering fortress, not to tilt in the face of a storm, for it is the most regrettable when a person strays from the goals they pursue because of others' opinions.

29. 谈到这里，在运用那高度的想象力方面，已是力尽词穷；但是，那爱却早已把我的欲望和意愿移转，犹如车轮被均匀地推动，正是这爱推动太阳和其他群星。

29. Having reached this point, I am at a loss for words in describing the extent of that grand imagination; however, it is love that has already redirected my desires and intentions, as a wheel is uniformly propelled, it is this love that drives the sun and other stars.

32. The fame in the secular world is just a gust of wind, blowing from this side to that side, changing its name with the change of direction.

33. I come from a place where I am willing to return; love drives me, making me speak.

34. 我们曾在因太阳而喜悦的甜美空气中愠怒；我们厌倦了心中阴沉的迷雾：现在我们在发黑的污泥中悲痛。

34. We have been angry in the sweet air that gladdens us because of the sun; we are weary of the somber fog in our hearts: now we are mourning in the dark mire.

45. Why are you distracted? Why are you slowing down? What does the whispering of others have to do with you? Go your own way, let people talk! Be like a towering tower that never leans in the face of a storm. We can live an ordinary life, but we must never live a life of mediocrity.
