But as I continued to learn and absorb beautiful words and phrases from other works, my writing gradually became more substantial. Of course, I have also thought about giving up on this dream. Sometimes, I couldn't figure out how to write a certain part, and I would feel very anxious; and there were times when, after finishing a composition, I would look at it again and feel that it wasn't up to my expectations. These reasons have made me consider giving up. However, the achievements of great writers have strengthened my belief in becoming a writer.

57. 全国发生冰冻灾害那年，我们一家回到了湖南老家，洁白的雪花从空中飘洒下来，整个世界都是银色的。那时我还不知道雪会成灾的，是会让那么多离开亲人，却只是高兴的拍着手，雪下的越厚，当然我也就玩得越开心。这时我看见电视新闻说全国许多地方因大雪造成灾害，供电中断、交通中断，许多人被困在家里、路上。虽然我所在的湖南益阳没有受灾，但在电视上看到有许多受灾地方损失严重，有许多人积劳成疾甚至因为抢险救灾而献出自己宝贵的生命，还有许多许多……，这让我又心头一震。因此，我当科学家的意志更坚定了。

At this moment, I saw on the TV news that many places across the country were suffering from disasters caused by heavy snow, power outages, traffic disruptions, and many people were trapped at home or on the roads. Although the city of Yiyang where I lived in Hunan was not affected, seeing the severe losses in many disaster-stricken areas on TV, and many people falling ill from exhaustion or even sacrificing their precious lives in the rescue efforts, and many more... this shocked me deeply. Therefore, my determination to become a scientist became even stronger.
