37. Humans are extremely complex. People change. There is no one who is born as perfect as a "good person" or as evil as "Zao Shaniao" (a character from a Chinese novel). Only the "Gang of Four" would come up with such absurdities as "three prominent aspects" and "starting high." The more eloquent their words, the more deplorable their actions. They have fallen, but their poisonous influence is everywhere today. For instance, when I listen to foreign language broadcast lectures, I still hear propaganda for **studying foreign languages. I think, if one does not remember vocabulary, do exercises, study grammar, and recite texts but keeps **memorizing, then they will definitely not learn the foreign language well. Similarly, those who engage in **work do not necessarily need to **eat for it, or **sleep for it. If by chance these one or two individuals are people like Lin Biao or Jiang Qing, then it's even worse. It's fine if good people do good deeds; what should be done if good people do wrong? And as for evil people? When evil people do evil deeds, it's not just one or two!
