13. Life without books is like a world without sunshine; wisdom without books is like birds without wings.

14. Our country has a patriotic celebrity named Zhou Enlai, who was our first Prime Minister. He was extremely concerned about establishing a new China and ensuring that the common people could live a happy and peaceful life, to the point of being overwhelmed with work. He is widely recognized as a great Prime Minister by the people.

15. After Zhou Enlai became the Premier, he became famous for his cleverness: when foreign journalists made unkind jokes about China, he replied with humor and wit, which made him seem very wise. This was Premier Zhou's style, overcoming strength with gentleness. "Throwing stones at one's own feet" is what that is - there's no way to compete with Premier Zhou. Premier Zhou was also a person of integrity and honesty. When he invited others to dinner, he never asked others to pay the bill. Once, Premier Zhou invited foreign guests to dine at the Laojialou in Hangzhou, and the accompanying person said they wanted to get the expense reimbursed. Premier Zhou disagreed, saying, "Since I'm treating you to dinner, how can I let you pay for it?" After some discussion at the restaurant, they charged ten yuan. But Premier Zhou still disagreed, and in the end, he paid thirty yuan. This stands in stark contrast to the corrupt officials of today. And compared to Premier Zhou, where do we stand? He ate simple food every day, worked on documents until 2 a.m. without rest; while we, the pampered "little emperors" and "little princesses," face mountains of delicacies and abundant meats, yet we are picky and choosy. Premier Zhou was always concerned about his hometown and the country, always putting the people in his heart, which is the true expression of patriotism! We, on the other hand, live in luxury, saying we love our country with our words but doing nothing in our actions. For something as simple as ourselves, we demand that our parents do it for us, thinking that studying is for our parents, and that doing homework is the most arduous thing in the world, complaining non-stop; while getting good grades on an exam, we immediately demand rewards, feeling that we have accomplished a great feat.
