2. Everything is divided into two halves, half and half. Men are half, women are half; good people are half, bad people are half; day is half, night is half. In this world of "half and half," it is almost impossible and not easy to seek perfection of one hundred percent. Therefore, we can only influence the other half of life from this half, using the good half to influence the bad half, and only then can we gradually move towards perfection.

46. When there is a conflict of opinions between ourselves and others, and we cannot coexist harmoniously, we become unhappy. We are joyful and elated when we advance in our careers; but if our interests are taken away from us, we become resentful and heartbroken. Due to various unsolvable problems, we live in a state of fear of losing and gaining.

47. 倏忽因缘,点滴把握,则跟前一时,跨越千载;一时不渝千载。千年暗室,一灯即明,则虽经千载,尽在一时;千载不渝一时。

47. With a momentary opportunity and a grasp of the smallest detail, one can transcend time and cross a millennium in a single instant; a single moment is as unchanging as a millennium. In a thousand years of darkness, a single lamp can illuminate everything; even after a millennium, it is all summed up in a single moment; a millennium remains unchanged as a moment.

48. 大事难事看担当;逆境顺境看襟度;临喜临怒看涵养;群行群止看识见。

48. Great events and difficult tasks reveal one's responsibility; adverse or favorable circumstances reveal one's breadth of mind; joy and anger reveal one's cultivation; in group actions and in stopping together reveal one's insight.

49. 失败者,往往是热度只有五分钟的人;成功者,往往是坚持最后五分钟的人。
