16. 智人除心不除境,愚人除境不除心。心即除矣,境岂实有。

24. 一个要杀,一个要救,要杀的是因为怨,要救的是因为爱,因果循环。
24. One wants to kill, and one wants to save; the one to be killed is due to resentment, and the one to be saved is due to love. This is a cycle of cause and effect.
25. 笑儿,佛界常说,因果循环。我们自此开始,那么,便由此地而终罢。

32. 忌妒别人,不会给自己增加任何的好处。忌妒别人,也不可能减少别人的成就。

33. 迦叶佛偈一切众生性清净,从本无生无可灭。即此身心是幻生,幻化之中无罪福。

34. When you are happy, remember that this happiness is not eternal. When you are in pain, remember that this pain is also not eternal.
35. 无事莫把闲话聊,是非往往闲话生。太过于欣赏自己的人,不会去欣赏别人的优点。
35. If there's no business at hand, don't indulge in idle chatter; it's often through idle talk that disputes arise. A person who is overly self-admiring won't appreciate the virtues of others.
36. 狂妄的人有救,自卑的人没有救,认识自己,降伏自己,改变自己,才能改变别人。
36. The proud are redeemable, but the humble are not. To change others, one must first recognize, conquer, and change oneself.
37. 在你贫穷的时候,那你就用身体去布施,譬如说扫地洒水搬东西等,这也是一种布施。

43. The more you get, the more烦恼 you have, the greater the pressure, there is a gain with a loss, a benefit with a disadvantage, love with hate, a cause with an effect.
44. 学佛第个观念,永远不去看众生的过错。你看众生的过错,你永远污染你自己,你根本不可能修行。

46. 过耳的虚话,过眼的云烟,辛苦事小,伤心事大,说者未必真心,听者也无须多心。善解怨,结善缘。

The speaker may not mean it sincerely, and the listener need not take it to heart. Understanding grievances leads to good will, and resolving disputes fosters beneficial relationships.

49. 菩提心发出来了,修什么法都能达到圆满,一切佛都是一体,念多少佛都是念一尊佛,都是自己的本尊。
49. Once the bodhicitta is awakened, practicing any dharma will lead to perfection. All the Buddhas are one in essence, and no matter how many Buddha statues one recites, it is all the recitation of a single Buddha, which is one's own root deity.
50. 起见生心,分别执著,便有情尘烦恼、扰攘,若以利根勇猛身心直下,修到一念不生之处,即是本来面目。
50. Because of arising desire and attachment, there is the dust of emotions and烦恼, confusion. If one possesses a strong and resolute mind and body, and directly cultivates to the point where not a single thought arises, that is the original face.
51. 欲知世上刀兵劫,但听屠门夜半声。不要光埋怨自己多病,灾祸横生,多看看横si在你刀下的众生又有多少?
51. To understand the worldly chaos and strife, just listen to the sounds of slaughtering in the dead of night. Do not just complain about your own illnesses and misfortunes, but take a look at how many sentient beings you have slaughtered with your own hands?
52. 于求乐有情,刀杖加恼害,但求自己乐,后世乐难得。于求乐有情,不加刀杖害,欲求自己乐,后世乐可得。
52. Among those who seek happiness, if they harm others with swords and clubs, they may seek their own happiness, but happiness in the future is hard to obtain. Among those who seek happiness, if they do not harm others with swords and clubs, they may seek their own happiness, and happiness in the future can be achieved.
53. 坏孩子,父母总是比较操心。所以对于罪业愈深重的众生,我们更应该特别宽恕他怜愍他,而不应该远离他舍弃他。
53. Bad children, parents always worry more. Therefore, for beings with deeper sins, we should especially forgive and have mercy on them, rather than distance ourselves from them and abandon them.
54. 欲得净土,当净其心,随其心净,即佛土净。圣人求心不求佛,愚人求佛不求心;智者调心不调身,愚者调身不调心。
54. To attain the pure land, one must purify their heart; as the heart becomes pure, so too does the Buddha land become pure. The sage seeks the heart rather than the Buddha, while the foolish seek the Buddha rather than the heart; the wise regulate their mind rather than their body, whereas the foolish regulate their body rather than their mind.
55. 一切境都是由内心呈现的,不要跟着跑,跟着境转就是奴才,没有自由,把握住自己的心,让一切境随心转,这叫大自在。
55. All experiences are presented by the mind. Do not chase after them; following the circumstances is like being a slave, without freedom. Hold onto your own heart and let all experiences change according to your mind, which is called great freedom.
56. 上师是父亲,坛城是母亲,弟子是儿女,生生世世都是一家人,金刚道友必须要互相尊重,互相帮助,搞好团结,要珍惜这个缘分。
56. The teacher is the father, the mandala is the mother, the disciple is the child, and they are all one family through countless lifetimes. The Vajra companions must respect each other, help each other, and foster unity; they should cherish this karmic connection.
57. 人的幸福感是自己给的,内心满足即圆满;若内心不知足,就很难得到真正的幸福。所谓圆满不是没苦乐,而是苦乐随喜,悲喜随缘。
57. The happiness of a person is given to themselves; inner satisfaction is completeness. If one is never content within, it is hard to achieve true happiness. What is completeness is not the absence of joy and sorrow, but the joy and sorrow come with appreciation, and the sorrow and joy are subject to circumstances.
58. 你认命比抱怨还要好,对于不可改变的事实,你除了认命以外,没有更好的办法了一切有为法,如梦幻泡影如电亦如露。应作如是观。
58. Accepting your fate is better than complaining. For facts that cannot be changed, there is no better way than to accept them. All effective methods are like dreams, bubbles, shadows, lightning, and dew. One should view it in this way.
