Deep in the ancient mountains and forests, there is a poem that has been passed down through the ages: "Returning to the old place, things are not as they were, and people are not the same." These eight characters fully express the vicissitudes of time and change. Today, I step onto this land, trying to find the traces of the past, and feel the lingering poetic charm.

1. 虽然还是那座高楼，还是那一片江水，还是那一轮明月，景色和当年所差无二，可是如今只剩赵嘏孤身一人，于是倍感凄清的他发出了物是人非的感慨。

1. Although it's still that skyscraper, still that stretch of river, and still that bright moon, the scenery is almost identical to what it was back then. However, now there is only Zhao Gu left all alone, and the desolate feeling he experiences prompts him to express his melancholy thoughts about the passage of time and the change of people.

2. 我想尽办法让你关注我，最后发现我太自以为是了。

2. I tried every means to get your attention, only to find out in the end that I was too self-righteous.

3. 如果我放弃了，不是因为我输了，而是因为我明白了。

3. If I gave up, it's not because I lost, but because I understood.

4. 我为你流下的眼泪伤了我的心。谁来安慰我？

5. 去年的今天，就在这长安南庄的一户人家门口， 我看见那美丽的面庞和盛开的桃花互相映衬，显得分外绯红。

5. On this day last year, right in front of the gate of a household in this Chang'an South Villa, I saw that beautiful face and the blooming peach blossoms complementing each other, making them look particularly crimson.

6. 我享受我的悲伤和痛苦。时间久了，我就麻木了，习惯了。

6. I enjoy my sorrow and pain. After a while, I become numb and accustomed to it.

7. 一个人陷入回忆，等待过去的痛苦来唤醒自己的内心深处。

8. 你还记得当时往渑池的崎岖旅程吗？路又远，人又疲劳，驴子也累得直叫。

9. 这首诗作于赵嘏进士落第东归返乡之后。在一个风平浪静的夜晚，诗人故地重游，登上曾经和朋友一同游玩过的高楼，眺望江上月夜的美景。

9. This poem was written after Zhao Gu returned to his hometown after failing the imperial examination and taking the civil service exam. On a calm and peaceful night, the poet revisited his old place, climbed the tall building where he used to play with friends, and gazed at the beautiful night scene on the river.

10. 你的记忆，还有你我的记忆；我的记忆中充满了我写的关于你的东西。

10. Your memory, and our memory; my memory is filled with things I've written about you.

11. 经常笑哭，又笑又哭。

11. Often laugh and cry, both laughing and crying.

12. 如果我像你对待我那样对待你，恐怕你早就离开了。

12. If I treated you the way you treat me, I'm afraid you would have left long ago.

13. 等待这可能不容易；伤害但是很简单。

13. Waiting for this may not be easy; the hurt, however, is very simple.

14. 去年今日此门中，人面桃花相映红。人面不知何处去，桃花依旧笑春风。

14. Last year on this day at this gate, faces and peach blossoms reflected each other in red. The faces are gone, but the peach blossoms still laugh in the spring breeze.

15. 眼泪是我自己的。没有人能理解我的痛苦和悲伤。

16. 独上江楼思渺然，月光如水水如天。同来望月人何处？风景依稀似去年。

17. 有些人，有些事，失去了再也回不来了，怪自己不珍惜。

19. 不顾一切的去忘记，到头来却发现事与愿违。

20. 不要把我对你始终不渝的付出作为你对我的爱漠不关心的资本好吗？

21. 谁也不知道未来会发生什么，所以，趁现在，好好珍惜眼前，不要等到来日重游，才发现，当初的美好只能在记忆中回味了。

21. No one knows what will happen in the future, so seize the moment now and cherish what is before you. Don't wait until you revisit the past and only find that the beauty of the past can only be relived in memory.

22. 可是却见不到去年之佳人，相思之泪沾透了她那身春衫的袖子。

22. However, the beauty from last year is nowhere to be seen, and her sleeves are drenched with the tears of longing.

23. 也是，我是一个只配含泪微笑的人。

23. Also, I am a person who is only worthy of smiling with tears.

24. 那曾与我一起赏月的人啊在哪里？这江这楼这月这水分明如同去年。

24. Where are the people who once enjoyed the moon with me? This river, this tower, this moon, and this water all seem exactly the same as last year.

25. 贺铸夫妇曾居住在苏州，后来妻子死在了那里，再次回到故地，相思成灰，悲从心来。回到昔日居住的房屋，再到亡妻的坟前，风景依旧，只是佳人已逝，曾经以为最平常的日子再也无法重现了。

25. He Zhi and his wife had once resided in Suzhou, but later his wife passed away there. When he returned to the place again, his longing turned to dust, and his sadness welled up from within. Returning to the house where they used to live and visiting the tomb of his late wife, the scenery remained the same, but the beloved one was no more. The days that were once considered ordinary could never be recreated.

26. 想当年，刘过还是热血少年，踌躇满志以为自己能做出一番大事业来，可二十年过去了，双鬓已经斑白，当年的理想却还没有完成，还在繁杂的世事里磨灭了曾经的豪气。物是人非令人心伤，但景色依旧人依旧唯独丧失了当年的心气，更是令人伤感。

26. In those days, Liu Guo was still a热血 young man, full of ambition and confident that he could accomplish something great. However, twenty years have passed, and his hair has turned gray. The ideals of his youth have yet to be realized, and the once grandeur has been worn away by the complexities of life. The change of people and things is heart-wrenching, but the scenery remains the same, and the people are the same, yet the heart that once was has been lost. This is even more poignant.

27. 朱雀桥边一些野草开花，乌衣巷口唯有夕阳斜挂。

27. Some wild grasses bloom by the Zhu Que Bridge, while only the setting sun hangs斜 at the mouth of the Wu Yi Lane.

28. 芦叶满汀洲，寒沙带浅流。二十年重过南楼。柳下系船犹未稳，能几日，又中秋。黄鹤断矶头，故人今在否？旧江山浑是新愁。欲买桂花同载酒，终不似，少年游。

28. reeds are full across the riverbank, cold sand carries a shallow stream. After twenty years, I pass by the southern pavilion again. Under the willows, the boat is still not steady, how many more days, and it's already Mid-Autumn Festival. At the Yellow Crane cliff, are my old friends still there? The old landscape is now filled with new worries. I want to buy osmanthus flowers and carry wine, but it's never the same as youthful travels.

29. 我听得太多了，但我不相信。我只相信你说的话。

29. I've heard too much, but I don't believe it. I only believe what you say.

30. 我独自登上江楼不由得思绪万千，眼前月光皎皎如水江水澄莹如天。

30. Alone, I climbed the river tower and couldn't help but have a myriad of thoughts. The moonlight before my eyes was as clear as water, and the river was as bright as the sky.

31. 当年王导、谢安檐下的燕子，如今已飞进寻常百姓家中。

31. The swallows under the eaves of Wang Dao and Xie An from that year have now flown into the homes of ordinary people.

32. 时隔一年的今天，故地重游，那含羞的面庞不知道去了哪里，只有满树桃花依然是旧样，笑对着盛开在这和煦春风中！

32. One year has passed, and today, returning to the same place, the shy face has disappeared, but the peach blossoms on the trees remain unchanged, smiling brightly in the warm spring breeze!

33. 重过阊门万事非。同来何事不同归。梧桐半死清霜后，头白鸳鸯失伴飞。原上草，露初晞。旧栖新垅两依依。空床卧听南窗雨，谁复挑灯夜补衣。

33. Crossing the Hanzhong Gate, all things have changed. Why did we come together but not return together? The wutong tree half dead after the cold frost, the white mandarin duck flying alone in loss. The grass on the plain, dew just beginning to dry. The old roost and the new grave, both are full of longing. Lying on an empty bed, listening to the rain on the southern window, who else would pick up the lantern to mend the clothes at night?

34. 距上次安远楼已有二十年，故地重游，还有故友相伴，本该是人生得意须尽欢的时候，可想起当年的情景，刘过忍不住伤感了。

34. It has been twenty years since the last visit to Anyuan Building. Returning to the old place with old friends should have been a time for full enjoyment in life, but thinking back to the scenes of that time, Liu Guo couldn't help but feel melancholic.

35. 我不怪离别，但为什么上天给了我一个美好的梦，却不能让我永远沉睡？为什么我期待一切都是美好的，待在雨中，待在笛子风笛里，待在断桥残雪里？

35. I don't blame the parting, but why did heaven give me a beautiful dream and yet not let me sleep forever? Why do I anticipate that everything will be wonderful, staying in the rain, staying in the wind of the flute, staying in the remnants of snow on the broken bridge?

36. 世界上最遥远的距离是我站在你面前，却只能祝你幸福。

36. The greatest distance in the world is standing in front of you yet only being able to wish you happiness.

37. 老和尚的骨灰塔和我们的题壁，是不是同飞鸿在雪地上偶然留下的爪印差不多呢！

37. The stupa of the old monk and our inscriptions on the wall, aren't they just like the accidental footprints left by a flying swan on the snowy ground?

38. 老和尚奉闲已经去世，他留下的只有一座藏骨灰的新塔，我们也没有机会再到那儿去看看当年题过字的破壁了。

38. The old monk Fengxian has passed away, and all that remains of him is a new tower for containing his ashes. We no longer have the opportunity to visit the broken wall where he once inscribed words.
