54. 当你快乐时，你要想，这快乐不是永恒的。当你痛苦时你也要想，这痛苦也不是永恒的。

54. When you are happy, remember that this happiness is not eternal. When you are in pain, you should also remember that this pain is not eternal.

55. 淡定，不是看破红尘，不思进取，它是经过岁月磨砺后的沉稳含蓄;淡定，不是不屑一切，不顾一切，它是历经世事变迁后的从容淡薄。淡定的人，善待生命，沉稳而不缺少热情;淡定的人，处事不惊，安详而不缺乏快意。淡定的人生，历尽沧桑，却依然呈现随遇而安的美丽淡然。

55. Composure is not the same as having seen through the world and ceasing to strive; it is the calm and reserved demeanor that comes with the wearing of years. Composure is not the same as scorning everything and ignoring all; it is the composed and indifferent attitude that comes from having experienced the vicissitudes of life. A person of composure treats life with kindness, is steady yet not lacking in passion; a person of composure faces situations without alarm, is serene yet not devoid of pleasure. A life of composure has withstood the test of time, yet still presents a beautiful serenity that accepts whatever comes along.
